I was on month-to-month post-pay though. Was my monthly bill actually extra usage from previous month plus next month's services? I'm waiting for Fido customer service to call me back "between 37 and 50 minutes," I guess current customers have priority now.

I bought a refurbed Verizon Galaxy S5 off of amazon.ca, those fuckers lied to me and said it would come unlocked (it didn't), I brought it to a local cellphone store and they said they couldn't get it unlocked, but they actually like half unlocked it... I can text and call but no data. Does anyone know if its possible for me to get data on this phone (I'm with Bell) and how to do it?

The Verizon S5 only supports one of Bell's LTE bands, not both. If you can get data working it's going to be crap. Probably something you should have looked up before you bought the phone.

I just hope this Pixel I just bought lasts the 4 years my Galaxy S3 did. It's a pretty loving awesome phone if you were wondering. So for Public Mobile, is it worth it over regular Telus plans, even though that deal is already come and gone? I live in Alberta

Do you think I should even bother, or can you say that with a decent amount of confidence that this isn't going to work out and just get the wheels moving on trying to return it?

It's a Verizon phone so maybe it's set to only use CDMA/EVDO or whatever Verizon uses. on the keypad try typing #*#4636#*#*, go to phone information, then scroll down and set preferred network type to LTE only or LTE preferred. Maybe that'll work. I'm out of ideas otherwise. You'll get an LTE icon on your signal strength, but no data unless you APNs are set correctly.
