Does anyone remember that one thread about the auto-worker who was going to be fired for sharting himself everyday on the job? If I remember correctly it turned out he was lactose intolerant but he still ate like 5 or 3 pounds of cheese a day. There was also this one magical page where he posted an image of his fridge and all that was inside were just 5 cheese wheels stacked on top of each other. I'm guessing it was probably fake but that was still one of the funniest threads I've seen on this forum.

It is possible to simultaneously hold the ideas that being raped is bad and that a victim of rape can make a lot of bad decisions that are not direct consequences of said rape. Shmorky falls squarely into that category

Aside from the baby-fur stuff, I always liked Shmorky, and I'm glad to hear Lowtax was cool about the gender stuff. Mega Marnie is still like in the top 3 best things to come out of SA imho.

Then he casually mentioned the fact he was basically on an all cheese diet. I feel like that thread was real. It was juuuust pathetic enough to be genuine. I liked the OP's battle to go "cold turkey' from his gut destroying cheese. If we are talking true sagas though, it has to be that multi thread epic about a guy wanting to ask his coworker out. He'd ask her directly and she'd be like 'lol idk!' and he'd be back to E/N trying to decipher what the hell was going on.

Having just returned from visiting Hawaii for the first time, does anyone have the link to the thread from the goon project / commune / farm thing from a few years ago? I'm curious to skim through it. What happened to it? Someone asked earlier in the thread and I don't think it was answered. Wonder if it was on the same island (Kauai) that I visited.

A good way to spot an epic SA saga unfolding is when fyad starts making reasonable observations like a greek chorus while the actors involved rage against then because they've become so used to their own behavior that they no longer see it as a problem. Things have gotten pretty bad when fyad is able to attack a forum by making calm and reasonable requests or appeals to human decency.

i'm indebted to fyad because back in the day i almost got taken in by noni's tearful batman speech and was about to donate $5 to doobie but because i was a uni student who'd been fired for getting in a brawl with an olive-throwing canadian air hostess i didn't actually have $5 in my bank account. in the few days i had to wait for more money to come in fyad did their big protest and everyone just kind of realised simultaneously that the whole thing was incredibly stupid. so by the time the money came through i no longer wanted to donate it and i kept it for my own foul uses. $5 isn't much but i am of course of the tribe of judah. anyway

Speaking of mods, I recall when GBS was at its worst there was this mod who would always probate people for spelling or grammar errors constantly and would flood the leper's colony with pages and pages of entries that went along the lines of "Use your shift key you loving dicksucking bitch!!!" and other weirdly over-aggressive poo poo like that, I can't for the life of me remember their username though. They didn't stay a mod for very long, for obvious reasons.
