I remember back when that Republican election commissioner in Wisconsin found a bunch of votes, just enough to flip a judicial election, and was already caught in an ethics scandal while keeping everything in unsecured excel documents. The Democrats of course didn't really bother to contest or anything since that would be uncouth *watches as NC Republicans are attempting to literally steal the governorship*

I can't overstate how big of a deal this is. It's unbelievably hostile to the scientific community.
