Believe me I considered flipping it but didn't want to dump out all the poo poo I shoveled up already lol Funeralopolis began playing when i crawled under for the first time  Aside from cooked wiring the trans looks in great shape. Gear selector moves it in and out of park effortlessly

He's got quite a collection out there, on top of what you see there. He's got the Jeep truck, that hot rod, two of those station wagons, another hot rod, some Chrysler thing from the '40s with a LS1 in it, and a Beetle. Along with several other things I'm forgetting. Oh and a Studebaker truck as well. Inside the shot he's got this too:  Which he's planning to extent the frame a bit and then drop the body of that wagon in 14's pic on top of. He's got a pretty cool shop to say the least.

I'm not sure, guy did say he was looking to clear out his collection, once he did his Corvette frsme swap, so you could probably make can offer on the Studebaker. Worst thing he can say is no.

There's nothing wrong with the heatshrink crimps. Nothing at all. Use proper tooling and heat them with a heat gun, not a lighter.
