Ultimates has some gorgeous art and Vision is a must have.

Also, holy poo poo Saga is spinning its wheels and going nowhere. Volume 6 wasn't great. Luther Strode on the other hand has been loving amazing.

Was that the volume where everyone was split up and none of the stories connected narratively or thematically? If so, yeah, that was a long six months plus two hiatuses. It gets better!

My Hero Academia is also a quality pick from that list if you already have OPM.

Food Wars is pretty decent but has fanservice if that bothers you. The food looks amazing and makes me want to try new things in the kitchen.

My Love Story is pretty cute as well, I enjoyed the early chapters.

Rebirth comics after #1s are excluded, it says in the small print. I can't work out if that includes The Flintstones, though; it'd be cool if someone could confirm.

Here's the header. So that's "Rebirth #1"s (essentially #0 issues,) and actual Rebirth series #1's. The new Hanna-Barbera comics like The Flintstones should be covered. Can't find out for sure since I've already bought 'em all.

Yeah, Sheriff of Babylon is the one thing I went straight to, having recently read King's Vision and Omega Men runs, and being pretty impressed. The code works on all 12 issues.

I would have loved to splurge money on Dysart's Unknown Soldier if DC could be bothered to release more than six issues digitally.

FWIW, they've been adding a shitload of Fourth World singles over the past few months, ranging from the classic Kirby stuff to the Simonson Orion series. I'm still holding out on these because I'd rather get the collections.

I'd sell my soul for a pitcher with a power sinker...
Velvet is fun - less mystery/noir and more straight up spy action, but unless you have a VERY strong genre preference it's quality Brubaker stuff.

Personally, I like Sleeper the best by far of all his collaborations with Sean Phillips. For superhero work, I'd recommend Captain America (although it lost steam a few years into it) and the first 24 issues of Catwoman (Volumes 1 and 2 of the trade paperbacks). If you had to pick just one Criminal story to read, I'd go with Volume 6, "Last of the Innocent," which is his twisted take on some familiar character archetypes. And the Immortal Iron Fist run he co-wrote with Matt Fraction is super-fun.

Brubaker is one of my all-time favorite writers, but I'm only recently realizing how dour and nihilistic most of his work can be. Let me clarify: I always knew it was dour and nihilistic, but maybe my tastes are changing. And that makes him a perfect writer for noir and espionage and crime stories, but sometimes I need a little bit of hope.

For my money, Gotham Central is the best, but of the stuff included in the sale, Fade Out is probably the best and Criminal a close second.
