Any Scout tips for someone who is bad at aiming? Like good positions on maps, ways to get good and things like that. The guns look real fun on the Scout but since I can't hit anything I always feel pretty useless then switch to Support and use guns where I don't have to aim.

I found it helpful to use a rifle with iron sights and start with 1.0 zoom as it seemed to throw me off less when I initially ADS. Also try a really low sensitivity on the sticks and work up until you find something you're comfortable with (I use 20%). Keep uniform aiming sensitivity on. Beyond that it just takes a lot of practice. Shame this game doesn't have a test range but if you can find an empty server you can run around trying lanes, finding good lines on objectives and practicing snap shooting at windows or whatever.

For scout I both hate sniping and have terrible aim so I avoided the class at first. Then I swapped to the G-something infantry rifle which lets you play much more aggressively and with spot flares and incendiary tripwire bombs I'm having a lot of fun taking and defending objectives. Playing scout as a scout not a sniper and running around shooting people mid range is now my favourite way to play.

I heard they buffed the trench darts one of the figher variants has. My dudes, it is now THE BEST fighter. You can dogfight, you can drop spotting flares, and if you have some red dots to aim for you can kill SO MANY people by making GBS threads projectiles on them. It was a crap plane before, but not it is best plane. Basically a solo attack plane with more speed. Hnnnf.

Also, those snipers who love to hide on the big rock spire between A and B on Sinai... hosed up two of them with the darts too. Very satisfying. On St. Quentin Scar I spent 13 minutes in the air continously without getting shot down, and 8 kills both air and ground. This plane is the one that finally earns me the skylord status. Love it love love it. Oh and going for this multi-stage assault medal (I will only ever do this once, assaults are my least favourite class) I needed 10 AT rocket kills. I got one of them while laying down on top of the zeppelin, and aiming down. This loving game man, it owns so loving hard.

Any tips for getting kills with the rifle grenade? I need 20 for the Hippocrates challenge, and it's really hard. The grenades do almost no damage, and they don't explode on impact, so playrs just run over them and stab you.

If there's one running amok with some infantry support, taking out those escorts makes it way easier for the assault guys on the ground to take down the tank with mines and grenades and rockets. The hell is a "round"? Get Top 5 in a round. Does it mean Operation waves? I play Quickmatch games mostly because two of the four Operations are too skewered towards Defenders for my liking and there's only so much No Man's Land you can take. But even then, when I stay in the server between matches, I get Top 5 and nothing happens. How can one company gently caress up something as simple as medals? I also managed to make a pretty good Bernie emblem. Going to roll with that for a while.

battlepacks are so random I've got at least 4 of them after latejoining at the buzzer with a total score of 0. I think this is just how the game is supposed to be, but does anyone else find the character lighting to be too dark and find it virtually impossible to see enemies a lot of the time? Like I just can't see people if they're not backlit.

Well, I got it, but I can't hit poo poo with it. A guy 10 meters away? 4 slugs into his chest. Nothing. Forget headshots, how do I hit loving people? The game doesn't seem to track slug headshots well. I can consistently take off skulls with the medic guns and I got the shotgun headshots by wandering around shooting snipers.

I'm starting to get the hang of it. I think it's a combination of lag (my internet is on the fritz) and inherent inaccuracy. Also I'm garbage at the game :P edit: I can't believe I got 10 kills the life before I unlocked the final stage of the medal (which requires 5 kills in 1 life) edit: oh my loving god. What a rollercoaster. I have 4 kills on 1 life. A grenade gets me. But a medic revives me! Boom, there's my target, 2 shot-gun blasts, center of mass. Nothing. I die... but a medic revives me! and grenade. I am never gonna get this. Medals expiring is the lamest thing. I have lost 2 medals that I was 90% done with because I had to like, go do life. I'm gonna get this loving medal if I have to play for the next 48 hours straight. edit: oh. Um, apparently, I got it? That's anticlimactic.
