quote:For example, if you want to raise the volume, you have to double-tap one of the AirPods, which activates Siri and pauses your music. Then you have to tell Siri to raise the volume. Then your music starts playing again. It's an awkward solution at best, especially when the wired EarPods that come with the iPhone have those handy buttons for audio controls.

you can but that utterly defeats the purpose of having wireless headphones at last the convenience of having to haul your phone out of your pocket every time you want to do something besides talk to siri

lol i thought this was a joke, butquote:Unlike Apple’s wired EarPods, there’s no dongle for controlling your music, answering calls, or adjusting the volume.

my wireless headphones have gesture controls so I can adjust the volume by swiping my finger clockwise or other on the right headphone cup just like the original iPod which is cool

I usually just squeeze the button through my pants pocket to adjust volume it is super easy but I will not be buying earpods because I don't want to look like an idiot with cigarettes in my ears.

it's still so weird for me that it was beats, not apple, who provided a proper proposal for a wireless design how do you not combine the two with a cord, at least optionally. even i could tell them that
