If we're going to be repealing laws because they're old, can we repeal the 2nd amendment already.

That's like 2 out of 3 for the internet white rights platform, along with a repeal of hart cellar

In a world where the 14th Amendment is repealed, how does on even get citizenship? Melanin removal therapy?

Best case scenario is it ends up like Japan's system.

Worst case they actually create legal systems to have formal second class citizenship for non-white peoples, i.e. exactly what the 14th was meant to prevent in the first place.

I've been thinking that maybe we should start revising the census forms to begin divide White up into White, Irish-descendant, Italian-descendant, German-descendant, Other European-descended just to give a preview of the future.

Ya'll are gettin trolled by a real low effort post sequence. The ruling court used unprecedentedly explicit language to call out the law for their barely veiled targeting of racial minorities, citing the voting demographics data that the legislative committees requested before drawing up the "disenfranchise as many blacks as possible" measure. To even debate it as "well it doesn't SAY 'black people' anywhere in it, so how do you know its racist?" poo poo is futile.

Those were mostly various executive positions like surgeon general that the republicans had been blocking confirmation on because they're shitheads.

The fact that the republicans are time and time again rewarded for refusing all but the most necessary governance (and even then often at the last possible minute) is the one thing above all else that seriously makes me want to loving hurt someone.

From my perspective the dems are fighting with sticks and rocks while the republicans have just figured out muskets. The dems need to step up their game and learn from the bullshit that has been dealt to them.

It all boils down to whether or not democrats can stomach hurting the country for political gain on the scale republicans have. All republicans need to do is form a "gang of 18" or whatever with nine democrats who are willing to break the filibuster in exchange for favors for the sake of bipartisanship.

Passing legislation in exchange for favors elsewhere is a really important aspect of governing actually. The fact that it forces compromise is one of the US government's most ingenious aspects IMO.

Social pressure has worked more to keep interracial marriage off the table for the vast majority of white people. Despite all the whining about white genocide only 4% of white men and 2% of white women intermarry. Putting a law in place serves no purpose society and media don't already reinforce and makes them look like dickheads.

Trades a better word I think. Compromise would be settling on a 15% tax rate on large, purple dildos when one party wants 10% and the other wants 20%.
