Ana is the one you use if you can aim, that's pretty much all there is to it. That includes landing your sleep dart. "Better single target healing" is offset by you having to reliably land your shots on things other than Reinhardt's butt in order to effectively heal your entire team. turtlecrunch fucked around with this message at 15:06 on Nov 27, 2016 |

I'm slowly and barely getting a bit more comfortable with Ana, but had a nice QP game with her. It seemed to be a good idea to bind sleep dart to M2 and scope to shift, it feels pretty natural.

I played some Tribes: Ascend and the one before that. They were pretty fun, but also by no means perfect shooters. But as to what takes off, there's a lot of factors outside of game quality. Price point and how far the developer pushes it being big ones. And as we know now, in-game collectibles/treadmills/gambling. I may take some flak for this, but I think a good example is HoN. Way smaller dev and it was at release behind a paywall. LoL and DotA 2 were both F2P and basically devoured the market share before HoN went F2P itself. Nowadays I assume both LoL and DotA 2 are better in pretty much every way, but at the time, having played all three, HoN was on a way better feeling engine to play.

Tribes won't ever take off because it's too complex a shooter for modern gamers and console players. That's it. Tribes fits into the same group as hardcore arena shooters; punishing gameplay with extremely high skill ceilings that newcomers have to bash their heads against until they become good. That said, I miss tribes, and it is an honor duel when you run into another Pharah.

And then all the reboots with TV and A were done by companies that didn't really understand what they were doing. T1 was a happy accident, and recreating it is much more complex than people realize.

As a D.Va player there are few things more satisfying than a Roadhog hooking your self-destructing mech into the middle of the enemy team but I managed to achieve something even better in the same game when in a last-point defense on Hollywood I popped self-destruct near the payload, the red team's Reinhardt charged me while I was in pilot form, and the explosion killed him just before he smashed me against the wall along with two of his teammates.

At least if you get good with her pistol you can get some surprise kills with her. A lot of times players will go straight for me making no attempts to dodge thinking it's an easy kill.

hello friends im new to this game which I hear is poppin'. I played a little during the beta where I rocked socks with Winston, but everything's different now and I can't seem to actually do much as him. I've cycled to other heroes that I can be better at (Lucio, CoD soldier), but I still miss my main primate man. Is the wiki a good place to scrape up relevant information? It looks like the metagame of overwatch changes constantly with patches. I just need advice that can largely remain relevant through all these patches and new ways of playing video games.

I would just practice with whoever you like and have fun with tbh, try have a character or two of each class that you are comfortable with and enjoy, then you can pick to suit your team composition
