I had wondered how the short sword would do against all your armor. Fight ended up being about how I expected except I had figured you would get a hit on one of my hands and then gut me. So really not what I expected at all

 Jazz's Name Tournament, Semifinals Round 2  Left: Stranger in a strangle land is a male Strangler fighter managed by frankenfreak. Head to toe iron armor yet no weapon... Right: serpent supreme is a female Serpent Man fighter managed by Tunicate. Adamantine shirt, a bit of other armor and huge chompers are all we have here.  The fighters meet in the middle and Serpent dodges an attack and then latches on to Strangers left hand. He bites through the iron armor and injects serpent venom into the stranglers blood. :holyfuckingshit: Stranger falls to the floor paralyzed and the snakeman begins thrashing him about by the hand.  Twenty minutes later Stranger shakes off the paralyzing venom and stands up. Serpent Supreme never took a better bite, he only shook the strangler around by his one arm which is now completely useless.  Stranger pushed Serpent from his arm, then knocks her down with a charge. Stranger yells "How do you like it?" and bites Serpent in the head. Serpent does not like it, not even a little bit. Serpent is knocked unconscious.   Really? We're doing this again?  Night falls on day 1. We're well into day 2 and the thrashing resumes.  It's dinner time on Day 2 and Stranger finally whips the snakewoman hard enough to kill her. Winner: Stranger in a strangle land Combat Log

Jazz's Name Tournament, Part Final It's time. The final showdown between the two best fighters moleboy's WhiteKnight HanzoSteel McSperg represents the vile forces of darkness, or at least goblinkind. He carries a steel short sword in one hand, a wooden shield in the other, and is plated well in copper. Notably, he has both a mail shirt and a breastplate. Someone did his homework on what the chest pieces do! He's on the left. Go in for a closeup.  So handsome. Anyway, there's also a little pipsqueak on the right. Stranger in a strangle land is managed by frankenfreak. This scrawny little strangler is empty handed and clad in iron. Let's go for a distance shot to really emphasize the size difference here.  I hope all of you at home are watching this on proper ultra-HD Dwarf-o-visions (95% guaranteed not to explode and fatally cover you with lava in the first week!) to appreciate this as much as those ringside with me. It's going to be an amazing fight, folks. Even the betting is... extant.  There was a short delay getting started as the Merchant's Guild held up the fight until the concession stands made a large enough profit, but we're ready, now! The fighters are set, and the starting bell rings.  Hanzo is the swifter, readying himself for an exchange of blows as land toddles on up. Both attack the other, but both prove more adept at dodging than striking, actually switching sides.  Hanzo draws first blood, with his steel opening up one of land's hands. He draws second blood, with a slash through a foot. land isn't going to go down without a fight, though, launching himself bodily at Hanzo and successfully knocking over and stunning the goblin. I guess that's why he's the favorite. land tries to bite Hanzo all over, but Hanzo is plated in copper. No mere spur of bone will dent his armor. Eventually, Hanzo shakes himself and throws off his stunning. Another slash cuts open another arm. A fourth takes down the other leg.  Four of his six limbs chopped to poo poo, land collapses in pain and gives up. Hanzo chops his head off. Combat Log Really, what did you expect to happen this fight? Now, if you'll excuse me, I've gotta pay my respect to moleboy, the undefeated manager, and then run down to the concession stand. I hear they're making a few extra dwarfbucks selling discount strangler sashimi. I guess moleboy has won... something, too. We'll have to find out what! Over to you, Spermy.

I saw your stats in the first fight and was really wondering this too. Then I saw you didn't embrace it and put a bunch of points in biting in the second match. Or the third. Edit: Moleboy gets to pick out an avatar, text, or whatever else he wants Jazz to have as a title. I'll buy him platinum and the title/avatar/whatever whenever you let me know what you want.

Does anyone have a good picture of deep, inconsolate sorrow? I am not sure what to do as his avatar pic but I am thinking of going with Dwarfhalla, Destroyer of Dreams as his avatar text. Also open to names to give him, though I am tempted to go with WhiteKnight HanzoSteel McSperg, if only because it falls so trippingly off the tongue. Someone please help with better ideas than mine.

Can't do a complete rename because he figured out his account email and got it unbanned. So you get to pick his Avatar/Title combo, and that's all. I was going to have the winner and 2nd place pick out a name and avatar/title, but since Jazz figured it out on his own you only get to do the 2nd part which is Avatar/Title.

Some creatures with sharp teeth, like molemarians and snakemen, have a preference for biting. I guess stranglers might have it, too.

Seriously, I'm thinking about rerunning that last fight until the other guy wins just so we can make Jazz have to look at something dumb. Or just the wrong Transformer so no one really knows except for him and it bugs the poo poo out of him every time he posts. I'll buy the thing on uhhh thursday I guess. I'm out tomorrow and wont be able to resize what he decided on with my phone. Edit: There is also fan art in the OP of this thread I think (like 6 posts down from the OP I guess). I am open to other people's ideas / suggestions. I just went with what I liked and just didn't feel like doing anything too incredibly ridiculous. Not that I wouldn't go with that if someone came up with something like that which was really good.
