Magic doesn't seem to hurt your dudes very much at all, even very strong magic. I think it mostly just stuns them for a second. Like that Thunder spell hit for 9999x3 on the boss and did like 50 damage to the party members or something nuts. They just did the whole "fall down and convulse as a million volts course through their body" thing and then yelled at me for blasting them. IRSmurf posted:After 2.25 hours of Justice Monsters Five, I finally hit 99 chests: Later on there's a version of the game that costs 10k per play and has way, way better rewards. I feel bad for the OCD people because you can only get the rewards one at a time and there's like 20 different ones for each version of the game. That's a shitload of sorta-pinball to play. Pretty sure you can get most / all of the stuff elsewhere, but I guess you get earlier access to some of it, which I guess might be worth it to some people. Are there multiple discs for all the soundtracks or is there really a FFX CD without To Zanarkand on it? There's a lot of weird omissions of reasonably popular songs from some of the other games, too. How do you make a soundtrack for IX without Jesters of the Moon.

Honestly the radio is so quiet I don't know that you could hear a piano piece like that over the engine. May as well free up the spot for something else.

Is the only way to fast forward to night time to fast travel a couple of times until it is night? Or is there some "wait til night" option I'm missing somewhere? edit: nevermind, when I took the night hunt, it asked me if I wanted to wait there until night. I swear it didn't prompt me to do that the first time. Chaitai fucked around with this message at 02:31 on Dec 1, 2016 |

If you have a hunt that takes place at night, you can activate it and it'll ask you if you want to wait till night. You can redo hunts and abort them to take advantage of it.

AlphaKretin posted:Honestly the radio is so quiet I don't know that you could hear a piano piece like that over the engine. May as well free up the spot for something else. You can adjust it the volume in the settings, and there are other quiet piano pieces (Rose of May is a prime example). I guess there just quite a few tracks missing from every game, which is kinda weird. Not like it would take up much disc space to just put the full OSTs on there versus 75% of them, unless I am grossly underestimating how much space music files take up. Ah well, just kinda weird. There have been like five songs I wanted to listen to for maximum nostalgia, only to realize they aren't there. Still plenty of good stuff though! Also for anyone else having issues with the camera in combat against a lot of enemies at once, try setting the camera to "far" in the options. Makes it much easier to see enemies that would normally be off-screen, so you get less instances of being bum-rushed by a random enemy and knocked out of a combo. It also makes the huge enemies look even bigger since you get a better sense of scale. The perspective almost feels like an old-school SNES FF sometimes. Also nice for areas with a bunch of trees, since for me the camera sometimes spazzes out and get stuck on a random shrub or something while I get chain-attacked by enemies I can't see.

Is the ocean supposed to be pitch black? Something must be glitched if there are palm trees growing out of the solid black skybox that is the ocean.
