Lewis won't care, he already has 2 more WDCs than he does and knows full well he would have won the title were it not for reliability issues.

So many people act like he's this brilliant genius driver and convenient leave out he's able to drive like total dog poo poo for long stretches of time. I started watching in 2011 and my opinion is that he's a fairly bad driver.

He was also poor during the final part of the European leg. The engine failure hurt him, but his relatively poor performances this season put him in a "must win" situation. His starts were also really poo poo. I witnessed it firsthand in Japan.
