"fun" is a useless metric because it's not quantifiable, and it's fine if your opinion of something is that it's fun and we can agree or disagree that we find something fun if you actually want to discuss the quality of something then "fun" doesn't enter into it, and the mgs games decreased in quality over time (one datapoint is the ratio of cutscene to gameplay which became increasingly skewed in favor of cutscenes) as for games i like, my favorite game is the Literal Greatest Game of All Time, Super Metroid
