I've said this before but he is quite possibly the worst defender in any of the big 5 leagues in Europe or whatever that group is called.

Looks like a new "leaks" scandal about to hit football. For the non-italian speakers, the serie A clubs involved are Juventus, Milan, Roma, Inter, Napoli and Torino. Fiorentina to finally claim second place behind Lazio!?!?

Is it anything other than the use of tax havens? Because if it's that then nothing will happen to anybody for using Ireland to avoid taxes or something.

It's about taxes and payments mostly but it could probably involve violations of labor laws which are taken pretty seriously. I agree that if it's just taxes nothing will happen, if anything, the laws will be rewritten to accommodate criminals.

Gigi Galli posted:Speaking of ultras, Lazio's groups have decided to show up for the derby after the team asked them to. Roma's have still not responded, but I think it would be pretty bad if they let the Nord be full and let the Sud be totally empty. Lazio is the home team so it'll be pretty quiet in the Roma camp if they don't show. Roma's ultras are not going to show

I don't plan on visiting in the near future, but given how empty Italian stadiums are in general aside from the Ultra stuff, how easy/cheap is it to get a ticket game day? Seems like it would rule as a tourist.

ESPN here is controlled by Mexicans and they're preempting the Juve match to show loving Eredivisie because of some of their oval office players are making GBS threads it up there, at least I have RAI so won't miss it, but wont get to watch the first half in HD. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJKVPYQW6KE

Simone Poodoin posted:It was a nicely placed shot though. Absolutely. Placed it in the only area where it had a chance of going in. But, being beat from ~20 yards at the near post usually raises questions in my mind. I think the defender might have provided a decent screen as well so I might be being a tad harsh on the keeper. Edit: And I don't honestly watch a ton of Serie A so I don't know much about some of the teams/players. I'm finding it a nice change of pace.
