Uncle at Nintendo posted:What is the reason not not get the 5GB plan and just have them continuously refund you if you don't use it? if you dont habitually go over 1gb a month there's no reason to have that money gone up front. they bill you at the beginning of every cycle, not the end, so if you're not using 4 more gb of data you could be using that 40bux for something else.

Oh. I suppose they also only charge you when you go over, and they charge you the standard amount, so I guess I could also ask why anybody would ever get anything higher than the 1gb plan.

The plans are meaningless, all data is billed at the same rate - whether you go over your budget or below. As posted (Literally in this thread) the only reason they're there is because subscribers couldn't comprehend a sane data plan after being rear end hosed by carriers for so many years.

Uncle at Nintendo posted:Oh. All data is billed at the same rate. From the first kilobyte to the terabyte or whatever. You can set a data "budget" at any increment of $10, but it doesn't matter - if you go under it rolls into next month, if you go over, you get billed at the same rate as if you hadn't. It makes literally, literally, no difference. You folks have actual stockholm syndrome lol and it is freaking amazing

My new phone sound chip apparently melted and looking up 'lg v20 speaker broken' it's apparently not uncommon to both this phone model and Android nougat v v It's cool because if you turn up the sound you can hear the cell phone signals come in and when videos play
