quote:

General
Crew Skills now display in the Crew Skills UI even if originally opened through the drop down menu.
Shae Vizla now properly receives bolster, and has stats comparable to other Companions.
The highlighted Galactic Command activity now gives bonus Command Experience as intended.

Missions + NPCs
It is now possible to complete the Makeb Mission “Descent into the Core.”
Vaylin now appears with the appropriate hologram VFX when seen on the Horizon Guard’s holocom in the opening Knights of the Eternal Throne Chapter I cinematic.
Fixed an issue that was causing Chapter XIV to not save player variables. The last playthrough of this Chapter completed will have its variables retained.
Chapter XVI: Battle of Odessen can now be completed on Story Mode.
NPCs spawned from the Hypergate Vortex in Terror From Beyond no longer grant Command Experience.
Planetary Missions no longer auto-complete when using the Galactic Command interface. The Planetary Missions option in Galactic Command has been re-enabled.
All gold NPCs now grant 1 Command Experience point (down from 10).
Chapter IX is no longer missing text in the French and German clients.

Yeah, that was a bit of a head scratcher. Could have been a cool fight. I generally enjoyed the inquisitor story. Equal parts Indiana Jones, Ghostbusters, and [Shock him]. The story and themes also flow really well into the kotfe plot.

The light side options play quite nicely into both your slave past and (more importantly) annoying the salty dashade.

I swear, it was like some are taking it personal, especially on Imperial Side that one guy was ranting all the light sided sith players should lose their characters in a lynching and be made to roll up jedi. I thought all this was, was a chance to earn some extra force alignment points and a possibility of tokens for cosmetics at a vendor and some are acting like it's a personal insult.

Never underestimate the capacity for players to freak out and tribalize over the smallest and most tedious poo poo.

I don't know if it's a SW only thing but talking to Ranos you can ask about Jaesa for a rather ominous answer.

Open the Galactic Command window, pick the end game activity of your choice, start grinding, pray to RNGeezus.

PvP is fastest I imagine with the elite nerf and I didn't get a clear upgrade until my 21st crate.

If I'm remembering rightly from the last time I read the datamined stuff, if you had a force using companion and they're still MIA, you can ask about them.

I haven't played this since way before the first set of expansions. I have an Agent who is a "free" double agent serving under Darth Jadus and a bounty hunter who has always maintained professional neutrality, except for turning on and killing that giant Darth rear end in a top hat who tries to blackmail you into killing the Alliance's senator. Which of those two classes would have a more enjoyable storyline from that point do you think, or is the Fallen Empire stuff largely class neutral?

Tank mount is pretty cool, except they have what appears to be a perfect opportunity to have you get inside and the doors close, but nope, you just stand there doing nothing. Booo. Hopefully Non-Entity just did the vehicle design and not the animations. :D

Everything after chapter 3 of your class story is completely irrelevant of your class. I'd play who you enjoy playing the most.

Andronikos seems incapable of reading what's actually happening around him. His gotcha for proving all Sith are maniacs is that I shocked a dancer (I didn't) and he warns me against trusting a Sith (whose advances I just shot down brutally).

Wish I'd taken those earlier [Shock] options. A [Kill] option would have been fine, too, I don't know why he's here.

Then you don't get the amazing "I brought Andronikas back!" line read from the Inquisitor at the end of the mission though

I did try that one actually.

Alderaan Bad Jedi are planning a fierce reprisal for my raid on House Alde, during which no one died or even knew I was there.

Alderaan Good I got to say "Good luck with the bloodbath" and leave them all to it.

edit: I absolutely love it when a game tells me off for something I chose to do. Sure beats being praised to high heaven for things I had no choice but to do (destiny this, chosen one that...).

You have to do class story plus *something else*, which can be planetary quests, or lots of sidequests, or flashpoints or whatever. Class quests alone aren't enough to keep up and you'll be like the level 22 warrior I had to rescue from sand people on Tatooine.

Is there some trick I'm missing for the KotET Chapter II Veteran mode where you fight the three hunters in the tomb and once the leader is down some health he starts to drop fire mines everywhere? I can mostly get to that point but then my companion stands in fire and dies every time.

Or is the mode not supposed to be doable at level 66?
Edit: level 67 now from dying enough times on that fight to have leveled up from killing adds.

They say that KOTET veteran mode is meant for level 70, not your first time through. I haven't tried it yet and honestly don't see myself trying for a while. I'm gonna burn my main alts to 70 then probably just stick to my Operative and Assassin for a while. The CXP grind just bums me out. At least you can be in full crafted 228 mostly optimized gear (relics seem a bit too endurance high), just save your set armorings.

Dunno what class you're playing but my Trooper had an unclaimed trainer skill that shields you and reflects all damage back out, and I figured "eh, I'll get it later" but it turns out you can't survive basically any major veteran poo poo without it.

I also died on that fight several times before switching it to story mode to finish. I'm actually pleasantly surprised at how difficult veteran is, because all the story content in KotFE was faceroll easy. Now you have to actually use your cooldowns to survive fights.

Chapter 2 was by far the hardest on Veteran the difficulty goes way down after that until you get to Vaylin's spirit. At least in my opinion.

In Mypos, only the strong survive.

I made the dumb mistake of patching the new expansion and letting nvidea "optimize" my settings and now I can't tell if they hosed around with nameplates or the stupid optimizer did.

I don't remember distant nameplates showing up/through my character. I want my body to block the camera from seeing them.

That spoilered fight is specifically impossible if you don't notice her buff that reflects damage if you attack at range. I spent three different attempts just killing myself on her.

The game is pretty simple with circles - either you have to stand in them, or have to stand out of them. Reading the buff bar is required heh

I've had that happen too since the 5.0 patch. I've yet to check my settings to see if anything's off mostly because I've been too lazy and haven't hit annoyed enough to actually check things.

On KOTET: Kind of sad that after all that rad single player story, there's not even a breadcrumb quest to uprisings or whatever. Yeah Lana, you said the thing, but I'd have appreciated at least being led over to the fleet (what why the Imperial Fleet that's old news) where quests can be picked up.

"It's over, go home, or grind, stay and grind I guess, bye" - them?
