I was hoping for Jim "I killed a guy in Nam" Webb for SoD. I feel that his tough on China stance would have actually melded well with Trump's nonsense, xenophobic pandering. Instead it's so much more likely that the South China Sea is gonna be a mishandled debacle. It's really odd to me that I was rooting for Romney as Secretary of State too. Like he was the moderate and sane choice comparatively when I look at others in this administration. God, everything is turned on it's head.

i like the way the light crowns the trees in this one man you always get really good color. my morning walk was mostly a bust.... it's gray as gently caress but not like moody enough to be interesting. i took a few pictures of a fat squirrel that was eating some goldfish crackers, with cheese dust all over it's face and paws but unfortunately it didn't come out

Al! posted:i like the way the light crowns the trees in this one yeah i suddenly noticed the light inside of werk office place had become a bit orange and turned around and looked out the window and took a walk outside for some pictures (behind a building in most so u can see the shadow effect against the sun). regarding the nasty weather in PDX u should do more shots at nite if its wet out, since it magnifies the glow of the lighting and the drops can add a cool texture over otherwise boring things...if its just before first light it might even be better! in general, taking pictures of nice everyday landscapes/scenes is cool and good Jack London or Ernest Hemingway?
