EDIT: Stubbs feels like a huge loose end unless we really were supposed to figure he got killed off in that scene?

I think Stubbs and Elsie were detained so they wouldn't get all murdered.

Here's my story question: if Ford wanted to lead the hosts to sentience, why did he have Bernard kill himself and then leave him dead? Why did he seem unsurprised when Bernard showed up repaired and with his memories intact, when, last episode, he didn't want him to have those memories? I'm not 100% sure on how his whole plan fits together.

I got the sense that Ford was the one who set Maeve into action and that her narrative involved resurrecting Bernard.

My one complaint about this episode is that it had too many heavy-handed exposition-droppy moments.

On the other hand: gently caress yeah! Robot revolution! Humanity totally deserves it.

And the moment when Dolores finally realized that the 'voice' she needed to hear in her head was her own and that that's what sentience means was just beautiful.

So we know that due to the bicameral mind etc, when they hear Arnold they're really hearing themselves.

So could Maeve's changed code (written by Arnold) really be her changing her own code? Seems like it'd be the case. I think it's lame she went after her daughter though, would've been cool to see Maeve next season chilling out in the real world.

I mean honestly, I like a robot uprising, but its that I feel like I've seen that way more before. I feel like there has got to be another story line that is possible in this kind of setting besides "All of you are actually cylons" and "we gained consciousness, time to kill all humans"

I was honestly hoping for at least another season or 2 of corporate drama before we hit this point
