The blurays for SDC in Japan were quite inconsistently "un"censored anyway. Some stuff was kept blurred. I mean, it's kind of weird to call it uncensored really when they obviously just draw it full detailed and then smear black over it. Uncensoring would kind of imply they're doing additional work to do so. I'm just being pedantic really.

It does, but that doesn't address the, once again, pedantic point that to uncensor something, you actually have to modify it. When uncensoring the blu-ray just means they use the unedited finished image, it's not modifying it so it's not really uncensoring anything. I just find it kind of funny, because I'm bored and poo poo. Thinking about it, I can't remember how nasty the Kakyoin eye slash up is on the BD.

If it's uncensored it has not been censored. Just like something that is "untouched" has not been touched. If you had to actively remove censorship that would be "decensoring" or "restoring"
