I wonder why the wall jumping high damage champion with an unstoppable, targeted, CCing ult is perceived as enjoyable. Certainly has nothing to do with the endless mobility and "this ability stuns you for five seconds, but only if you stand in it, also you're instantly slowed 99%" poo poo Riot keeps adding.

Pick up your shield, fight by walls, don't forget that your ult has a small travel time after you wind it up, you can also instantly retrigger your ult for an in-place knockup instead of a moving one, W gives MS.

play braum, mid feeds, jungler vanishes into the Yi Zone, we lose play mid varus, enemy mid feeds, jungler enters the Vi Zone, we win problem solved also does anyone have thoughts on whether the change to varus' passive makes attack speed any better on him? i decided to go essence reaver into RFC and it felt pretty good but that's mostly because i have a pathological aversion to building tear because gently caress spending 750 gold on mana regen and nothing else

She's extremely disruptive though. Her E is a move-speed boost but also blocks dashes so you can save it to prevent say, lee or vi or rango from engaging on your ADC by standing near them. You can also ult dangerous enemies completely out of the fight OR use it as an instant knock up to keep them still while your team catches up to you as you dash in ahead of them. In lane, use the fact that your passive shield will bounce back to you without having to pick it up to execute minions at range with relic shield. "poke" by charge and Q'ing the enemy for large chunks of health and waddle away with your E, since you have basically a double Janna shield with your passive and mastery. The fun part of poppy is you just rotate around the enemy squad and herd them like a sheepdog because they are terrified to get near a wall if you're nearby, which means they're open for engage from your other teammates. Poppers can also soak a HELL of a lot of punishment, especially with the build I'm using. She almost doubles her HP in shields between her passive, locket, face, and CoC mastery. It's absurd. The only tricky bits are 1- making sure you ult without getting interrupted, and ult the RIGHT target. And 2- don't charge your enemies to safety. In most of those games I saved ult to slam Jhin's fat face the gently caress out of every fight (everyone's playing jhin today and he helpfully sits still while ulting) so he does no damage at all and we cleaned up the 4v5s. mistaya fucked around with this message at 06:22 on Dec 7, 2016 |

I had a 16/1/11 game as MF tonight where I got an A-.  I'd love to see a detailed breakdown of how you get that mastery rating after a game, because I have good games fairly often where I play my character to the hilt (for my level of play) and get A- and B+ and poo poo. Basically the way the system considers "average" means you need either a crazy amount of farm or a huge amount of wards/wards slain. Can't really rely on unconventional builds and roles IMO. Going 10:1 KDR in ARAM also works, since the CS requirement is way more lax and heavily favors dying very little.
