My mom fractured her shoulder ice skating, pissed her the gently caress off because her major hobby and source of exercise is rowing and she couldn't do it for like a year or two.

How's that stack up to Jeff Fisher claiming the Rams' woes are due to Steadman Bailey catching three bullets?

I'm convinced Belichick is never going to retire and will die on the field someday because I don't think he enjoys anything else in life besides football.

I don't know if anyone else read this three times yesterday but it's worth looking at if you didn't.

http://www.sbnation.com/2016/12/4/13806136/jeff-fisher-rams-contract-extension-7-and-9-excuses

The guy is constantly 'well I'm not making excuses but here's an excuse.' I guess it helps that he has so many opportunities to give excuses.

e: I mean no really. Jeff Fisher got extended. This happened. How did this happen? No one knows. Team moved, must keep coach no matter what. Training camp in some bad place, like half the teams in the NFL. Coach good. Aaarrrgh.

The best defense is really "he ain't Gus Bradley" right now. I wonder what it'll be next year?

Well in his defense....

They HAVE been through a lot. Extension negotiations take a lot out of the team, especially when it's to extend Jeff loving Fisher.

Doing the right thing for the wrong reason is...well it's fairly terrible. But concussion protocols done correctly should make a lot more people angry than they do now, whether it be football or hockey.

Isn't coming from nothing and marrying a hot stripper basically the American dream?

AFC
O - Andrew Luck
D - Eric Berry
S - Stephen Gostkowski
NFC
O - David Johnson
D - Akiem Hicks
S - Matt Prater

Hecker should probably have won NFC ST player. He's probably the only reason the Patriots didn't win by 50

quote:

According to the Chicago Tribune's Mike Mulligan, John Fox will return for a third season as the Bears' coach in 2017.

After going 6-10 in his first season with Chicago, Fox has guided the Bears to a 3-9 mark through 12 games this year. The loss of OC Adam Gase has been substantial, and the promotion of QBs coach Dowell Loggains hasn't panned out. But according to Mulligan, word is Bears DC Vic Fangio is the one who won't be back. Fangio is probably the Bears' best coach on their entire staff, and the defensive issues have mostly been due to a lack of talent in the secondary and a rash of injuries in the front-seven. Fox is unlikely to turn this thing around in Chicago.

Purging coaches that could threaten him is basically classic John Fox.
