Don't try to act like you didn't own a red Yankees baseball cap

Debatable what the worst kind of metalhead stereotype is, though. Is it the 80s thrash leather jacket and studs style? 90s nu-metal jncos and wallet chains?

Personally I can't stand the current trend of sleeveless tshirts with the sides cut open, fabulous Tegan & Sara haircut, lip piercing and full sleeve tattoos. I love tattoos but lol if you've got both arms completely covered by age 20, I guarantee you won't regret any of them!

The worst is definitely the old dude in a battle jacket because they always single me out to drunkenly give unsolicited recommendations for early 90s death metal albums at a distance of 3" from my face. No mate, I loathe Incantation, gently caress off.

Knight Rider and Baywatch were big. I think the Hoff's music career was mostly a European (German?) thing.
The last video I saw of him was where he's wasted, eating a burger, and cursing at his kid who's filming.

The Battle for Castle Itter was a thing that happened.

quote:

The Battle for Castle Itter in the Austrian North Tyrol village of Itter was fought on May 5, 1945, in the last days of the European Theater of World War II.

Troops of the 23rd Tank Battalion of the 12th Armored Division of the US XXI Corps led by Captain John C. "Jack" Lee, Jr., a number of Wehrmacht soldiers, a Waffen SS officer who defected, and recently freed French POWs defended Castle Itter against an attacking force from the 17th SS Panzergrenadier Division until relief from the American 142nd Infantry Regiment of the 36th Division of XXI Corps arrived.

The French prisoners included former prime ministers, generals and a tennis star. It may have been the only battle in the war in which Americans and Germans fought side-by-side.

Adding to this, these days Nicko also has a Sooty puppet sitting on his bass drum at Maiden's live shows, customized to fit whatever general theme the stage setup has. Never knew this was the story behind it though.
