I had to drive across Colorado in early May 2011, after an extremely snowy winter. The interstate was basically beat to poo poo after the winter, and most of the paint for lane markers and such was completely worn away. This made it incredibly fun when it started snowing at dusk, about two hours west of Denver. I'm usually comfortable driving in snow and bad conditions, but I think that drive took 5 years off my life expectancy. e: new page, have some actual schadenfreude https://twitter.com/NFL/status/805515368215105536 Atlanta scores a td to go up by one, tries for a 2 pt conversion to extend lead to 3, KC picks the pass off and runs it back for 2 pts, winning the game. Native Texan, I see both of these play out on the freeways everytime it rains much less snows. Some people freak out and slow to a crawl, others DGAF and try to go 80 because they never heard of hydroplaning. I kind of give us a pass in snow/ice because, at least in the Dallas area, we see snow on the ground maybe one day a year, freezing rain 2 or 3 if it's a particularly cold winter.

This happens in North Dakota too. When the weather isn't that bad people drive like it's the apocalypse. When the weather is bad they drive like they're in a tank with places to be.

Then you zoom past them as they slam their accelerator to the floor and you pray they don't randomly regain traction and lurch into you as you zip up the hill. Physics is hard.

He was the very same player who had muffed the reception of the final two onside kicks, and it was the only touchdown of his high school career.
