They probably have a list of questions that they go down during a criminal case. On the Stern show, they prefer to read out questions as they think of them, which I'm guessing Ed isn't used to.

Howard used Sal's participation in a gang rape of an unconscious woman as part of his evidence of Sal being gay.

Much like with everything else in life, the Euros seem to have more sense on how to do things in a fun atmosphere without sucking the soul out of the event.
An often forgotten segment on the show was when Jackie was berated by Howard for telling a Ronald Reagan Alzheimer's joke at an event to his daughter, Patti. She went ballistic on Jackie and word got back to Howard and he let Jackie have it. Then shortly after, Patti did Playboy (a big deal at the time as she was the daughter of a President and was having an infamous fallout with her parents) and Billy West absolutely harassed her for 30 minutes with the Jackie Puppet.

It's one of the best Jackie Puppet segments but far less known. I think he gives it to her worse than Richard Lewis or Conan.

I didn't know the background on that, but agreed, that's perhaps the first Jackie Puppet segment I remember hearing and definitely one of the most memorable.

I know a lot of people hate him but Michael Rapaport is one of the best things to ever happen to the show. He busts balls better than anyone on the show and it's actually funny.

The fantasy football segment was the best. "This league exists to bust balls." followed by "I want Rapaport out because he busts balls too much."

Artie's latest podcast episodes are on youtube. I've been listening to it. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. Today was interesting as he was talking about when he first started on Howard. He said that he thought he was going to get fired at the beginning because Howard wasn't using his jokes and was using all of Benjy's. I haven't heard that before.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypoF5tjPZtU

He did an episode the night of the election. That was great. Ends with Artie being in shock that he golfed with and roasted the President of the United States.

Those stories were interesting. I wonder how much truth there is in Howard telling him "the show is geared towards you."

Arties podcast cadence where he talks a million miles a minute and then mumbles the punchline is annoying as gently caress though.

In the middle of Sal's lie detector right now and this is like golden years Stern. I realize the good ol' days are gone but if they could do something like this a couple times a month the show would be just fine.

They tested Sal and Richard about being gay (they are, like a lot if you believe the results) and then they sprung a bunch of racist questions on Sal and shocker, Sal's racist as poo poo although somehow he doesn't hate them.

All he was saying is that A) you shouldnt drink and do drugs because you might end up in a situation you regret. whether its a white child or a black child

and B) he personally learned when he addresses things he should address them in a much better way, a specific way, so as not to offend people. black people white people spanish italian, whatever the case may be

Here's my list of Top Noine HS related things as a fan who only really started listening in early 2014 (I'd post links, but in on my phone. If you still don't have links to these things yourself by tomorrow, I'll quote this and add everything that I can):

1) Everything Eric the Actor, but especially zero point zero, Derek from Texas, the modelling agency, and the In Plain Sight saga

2) Magic Johnson's Magic Hour

3) Tradio and public access calls by Richard and Sal (specifically, the No Gravity/Hugs for Harlem call, which is the "dopus opus", as Howard put it. "Ball busting at level red", as per Artie.)

4) Sour Shoes vs Steve Langford

5) poo poo-gate (the messy bathroom saga) A better thing to put here would be Gary's first pitch.

6) Siobhan sitting on High-Pitch Mike's face for the tv, and the entire fallout from that, with regards to Artie

7) The Mike Walker Fart (listen to this first! It shows up more often than you'd think, so it's good to know where it came from)

8) Howard goofing on Gary's book.

9) Gary's love tape saga.
