Because they're both only a few banners out from Orlando's? If you don't know how to be patient and think rationally about your options, then you're exactly the type of clientele gumi wants playing their games. I mean sure, if you just keep saving resources, you'll never end up doing anything. But there's a big difference between hey Orlando's great, let's see if I can get him on dailies, and oh my God Orlando gonna throw all of my resources and be absolutely hosed if I don't get him at all. There's, if nothing else, incentive to hoard until we know whether or not BE will change the gacha like it did in JP so that rainbow crystals are always Base-5* units/gold crystals are always Base-4*. If that never happens, then that's right, there's no reason to pull now or ever since it'll always be trash.

Imo, always pull daily, save tickets for good banners, and 11 pull if you do the previous things and haven't gotten everything you want by the final day of the banner.

I've been playing since July and I only got my first 4* base character during the FF3 banner on a daily pull. It was a Rosa If it wasn't for Maxwell she'd be my only character that is 4*+ base. I've never seen a rainbow crystal either.

How does that random generator work for draws, anyway? Does time factor in there anywhere? Every time I've drawn immediately after server reset has been trash. Maybe I'm just grasping at straws.

I was lucky and got a rainbow Elza in my first few days of playing but it artificially inflated my hopes regarding pulls. Haven't seen another one since of course. But I can't complain too much because although I have gotten a bunch of garbage, I have also gotten Exdeath, CoD, Lenna, Faris, Kefka and some others that I don't use like Fartz, Garland, and others in those tiers, not to mention multiples of some. The problem now is since I have my A team the only upgrades for me will be units that are rare and hard to pull...

My only 4* base's are Chiz, Refia and WoL (Chiz came in a rainbow, my only one.) No 5* bases either. Wish I'd tried for Agrias, though I guess her 6* news did come after her banner. So far, I'd say only Refia's been absolutely vital to handling really hard content. Every other role can be filled with 3* bases or friend units. But yeah, looking like the future's going to be in 4-5*+ units. New 3*'s from now on don't even get 6* forms unless they get upgraded months later.

Im kind of in the same boat. Only base 4* have been gaffgarion and tilith, who is honestly pretty great. Only seen one 5* and it was a roselia - on the lightning banner no less... I have been lucky on getting the good banner units through daily pulls - cecil, kefka, exdeath, cod Should have about 80 pulls to throw at orlando - at the very least I expect some upgrades, and maybe finally a zidane.
