I think he can hear you, Ray.
Actually on his last album, which I'm not that big a fan of, E-603 did a really cool thing where in the first track he used a couple of samples almost as a chorus for the song, so it meanders and then it comes back again. I don't think you could make it work for every song, but it was an interesting approach.

We should be getting 2016 mashups soon but in the meantime here are a few I just stumbled into

Pretty generic older pop mashup but technically solid
Titus Jones - Rock Your Boyfriend's Baby (Maybe) [Britney Christina Aguilera Justin Bieber]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCFgyrfDaPY

This mashup is kinda meh but the video is pretty neat
DJs from Mars - Lean on Bonfire (Knife party/major lazer/dj snake)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sk-nQ9FAOQ

A little more chill
Florence & the machine vs calvin harris - sweet nothing
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCDcp3zC9Hg

Djs from mars are probably my favorite right now, but that's partly because my old favorites don't seem to be producing new content
Lukas Graham Vs Avicii Vs David Guetta & Showtek - Hey 7 Years Bad Brother (Djs From Mars Bootleg)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIsOYDOk35s

What is everyone else listening to.

EDM mashups really killed it for me. Mashups were fun when they were unconventional mixes between hip hop and pop songs. RIP Ludachrist.

I have never posted here before but came across a mix by a DJ/Producer group I like that I thought some people in this thread might enjoy.

Two Friends - Big Booty Mix Volume 10
https://soundcloud.com/twofriendsmixes5/bb10

It's a lot of relatively short mashups of a bunch of different genres, mostly house/electro instrumentals with pop/hip hop vocals. I found there to be some really inspired combinations and great transitions here that I never would have thought work together. I basically listened to this on repeat for two weeks driving to/from work while dancing way too excessively in my car.

I'm still on the search for a mashup mix I lost three/four years ago. It was a mix put together, or at least heavily featuring, an early rapper from the early 90s/late 80s. I think a guy from Run DMC put it together. It was mostly hip hop. Ah.

It wouldn't surprise me if they're just throwing it up there either in error, or to see how long before it gets taken down. It sounds ridiculous, but Tidal just had to take down a bunch of Prince bootlegs they had up.
