Drunk Driver Dad posted:No pain or injuries today in my workout. Good stuff. I've been generally trying to eat healthier and drink less, but I'm thinking about giving macro counting a go. As it is I just eat a certain amount and try to get at the very least 130g of protein in every day. I got unfriended by someone when I suggested they count calories/macros instead of a 6 week no food juice and shake diet... Maybe you should try that

speaking of dumb stuff, that girl i know is still posting non stop about her Shakeology poo poo. She also only does those video tape workouts where you sort of dance along for cardio. Well a week or two ago she started talking about lifting and how she was going to get ripped and I was like "oh cool, at least she's trying something different" two days later she posts a video laying on a chair with what looks like a 1 lb dumbell in each hand doing skullcrushers with literally a 2-3" range of motion. and craning her neck because it's still one of those video workout things. Normally, I'm just like whatever let people do their thing, but she aggressively pushes this stuff on everyone. Tells them not to go to the gym, to buy that expensive Shakeology bullshit, it's literally superfood and will make you so much healthier even though she posts once a week about how she is sick and can't get over it. Also she uses a photo of an anorexic girl who looks like her to purposely mislead people about her "results". I knew her back in the day when she claimed to be anorexic and she looks exactly the same. Just a normal weight you'd expect a person of her height to be. Not super skinny, not fat.

I just do weighted neutral grip This is just my personal experience, but my wrist hates supinated positions much more than pronated(probably just because I irritated the hell out if it doing straight bar curls). I just do neutral grip as well though.

I guess you could try neutral grips with a four foot wide gap to work those lats. My gym has a squat rack with some TRX supports that will allow that. It's pretty hard to pull off though.

Me? My wrist stuff has mostly healed. I have lat pulldown in my routine now and I grip those somewhat wide(wider than shoulder width but not a ton, similar to bench press with ring finger on the rings if I had to guess). I just take it easy on my wrist where I can to avoid re-injuring it.

The distal biceps tendon can go gently caress itself. Only acts up on squats and while lugging groceries around if I flex my elbow. Also acts up during basketball when my finger tips press against the ball. It's fine during bicep curls and pretty much everything else.
