The issue is every other character that doesn't get a unique fusion, mostly poo poo like 'Super Saiyan Gohan (kid)' which is just a variant of regular Gohan permanently in Super Saiyan, is way the hell better than those two. Fusing your MC with them will make it weaker. Also there are like 100 OC do not steal characters who have a minimum of 4 unique fusions with the other dumb OC characters so Nail and Uub really stick out. Now had Vegeta been the one that had to go naked in order to distract the Dragon, that may have worked a lot better. Wasn't the Super 17 arc only about 7 or so episodes too? I remember it being hilariously short. I did like the idea of Hell opening up and releasing all of the series villains on the planet. They also did it in Fusion Reborn, but If eel like they did a little more with it in GT.

From what I remember reading, GT was supposed to end at episode 40, with the Baby Saga. I'd guess Super 17 was done to create some filler so they had time to get the Shadow Dragon stuff developed.

The thing about how your main character can fuse with everyone in Fusions is that after you beat the game and get Super Saiyan Pinich that no longer matters because you're a crazy person if you don't have him fused to you at all times

I haven't played Fusions, nor do I know anything about it aside from this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HzH1CoFGMQ Which already makes it a great game and I hope Super draws inspiration from it. I want a 10 year time skip so that Goten and Trunks can get into their teens, and then a 5 way fusion between Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Goten and Trunks. How would it even be called? I thought the art in the Yamcha special was really well done. I checked and it turns out it was done by Dragon Garou [Warning: Danbooru link, turn on adblock] who's really good at imitating other people's styles and has made a few other Dragonball comics (including one where Vegeta and Saitama fuse).

The cool thing about GT was the Kamehameha x10 and its big brother the Big Bang Kamehameha x100. More moves should have meaningless multipliers attached. Krillin should use the Destructo Disx x18 to defeat Hit.

speaking of GT, why does Super lack Bra? Are you telling me they could have had both kid Trunks and a super young Bra having goofy funtimes at the amusement park while Vegeta grumblingly followed along to be a Good Dad and they opted not to? I get it if it's dumping as much of GT down the toilet as possible but Pan is here! We have the inferior kid of that pair already, let us have the fun half-Saiyan who potentially could be super strong but just wanted to go shopping and sass the prince of all Saiyans.

Bra has been removed from the mainline canon Bra will be Yamcha and Bulma's daughter in Yamcha's superior new spinoff series. And yes, Bra will be able to go Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan. I feel like that is kinda true of all super saiyan forms, honestly, except the ones Vegeta and Trunks undertook. Ssj2 is more like full energy SSJ, SSJ3 is more like SSJ2 with a half transformation to Oozaru. That means golden ape form is the real ssj4 and what we call SSJ4 is more like primal SSJ. But that's just my headcannon.

yeah if SSJ4 was named Primal Saiyan or Feral Saiyan or something it would be like 10x cooler by name alone. like some sort of reversion to an earlier, more wild form of the saiyan race Super Saiyan God got the right idea by dropping the number system
