It's weird cause I've gone out with lots of Chinese and Taiwanese girls and like the weirdest thing was one called me daddy in english. I literally have no idea how Haier selects people because even using dating apps the worst surprise I've encountered was a girl with a big mole that she photoshopped out of her pictures, or a girl who got quite upset if the blankets of my bed touched the ground. It's incredibly easy to find strange and not end up in these situations edit: cool more horrible snipes

That Haier, but with women.

That's generally what happens when you make a bunch of very specific progressive promises in order to get elected and then drag your heels on implementing any of them to focus on cash for access fundraising instead.

Fojar38 posted:what is the most cosmopolitan city in asia Tokyo has a lot of stuff because it's big but it's still very Japan. Hong Kong I think is the most cosmopolitan, it feels like New York City with a reaaaaaaally big Chinatown. Bangkok is also a strong candidate. You can sort of measure cosmopolitan-ness by how much you get stared at and nobody gives a poo poo about you being foreign in Tokyo/Hong Kong/Bangkok. One that's definitely not on the list is Seoul, it's huge but still has a small town mentality for the moment. It's getting there though, maybe someday. Korea's more (legally) open to immigration than its northeast Asian neighbors so the possibility exists.

I've met girls who travel and have dozens of stories about stupid poo poo the stupid people they hang out with/gently caress, Haier isn't a unique specimen or anything, just an usual man in an apparently unusual place.

I assure you, ask any domestic Argentine about 'Las Islas Malvinas', and you'll get a 100% 'they belong to Argentina' response. I also found more puzzling (at the time, now it's just comical) that Argentine globes claims a huge loving wedge of Antarctica as their own.

He's personally more or less progressive, but the liberal party is basically just a giant ball of patronage politics and discreet corruption, so it's no surprise that they and the Chinese get along so well. Also the unofficial liberal party slogan is "run from the left, rule from the right" so they rely on people thinking they're progressive and then forgetting the ensuing four years once elections come about again.

Today’s front page features a picture of a distressed student along with a phony university admissions letter. The headline reads: “68 ‘university students’ realize on the eve of their graduation that they have been duped.” The story is about a recently uncovered higher education scam, where a man called Zhao Lianshan distributed fake university admission offers to students who had not scored high enough on the entrance exam to get in. Oldie, but a goodie. LMAOZEDONG.

I love it. Operating out a shed in the corner of the campus no doubt, which fits the light industry theme, the baoans aren't going to give a flying gently caress who's going in and out. And for the semester project, you could do heres a old beater car, take it apart and put it back together again. I have so many questions for the students who took this scam.
