Yeah, I bet Ces wrote this when he knew his dad was dying.

It's nice that he had an outlet to express some of what he was feeling. I don't know if it's because I know about what happened or if it's reading this, but these strips are really very sweet to me.

I kinda love these. It's rare that Calvin & Hobbes goes for wordplay, but the silly gags do a lot to lighten the tone of the comic. Between the snow goons, the monsters under the bed, and dad getting preachy, a simple pun can do a lot of good.

We let our toddler pick out his own gifts for people. Its really sort of sweet what sorts of presents he thinks people would like based on his interaction with them. He picked out M&Ms for my dad because whenever he visits he always has M&M's to share :3:
