The damage is so high it lets you get away with it more often than not and nobody expects you to play so aggressively with that operator. When they hear you firing off shots like that they will think you're just busting windows and are a lot farther away than you really are.

No actual fixes for lighting, only mapping workarounds, expect to see a little archway made out of vents placed around each door and window. Eventually I'm sure they'll get tired of doing it per door/window and will just scale up the model to a ridiculous size and each map will have a giant archway that blots out the sun.

It basically condemns him to the consolation hell of helping your team by watching cams usually reserved for the shameful idiot who gets themselves killed at the start of the round.This is often me anyway!

Ran into this situation last night: As Montagne, I had my shield extended and was peeking a hole in a wooden wall. Castle comes along and throws an impact grenade and hits his side of the wall. I took full impact grenade damage instead of having it reduced by the shield. It definitely didn't hit behind me since it created a big hole to vault through. Is that a glitch or are impact grenades exempt from the explosion reduction for some reason?

It would give people a reason to chuck impacts at shield users for a change rather than downed people/walls if that was the case.

The new tchanka shield is pretty amazing. Was playing a round as Glaz on favela, secure area, with the armory being the area to capture. Their tchanka had set up in that little closet off the armory behind a deployable shield looking back into the armory. Someone on my team had breached the external wall to that closet so the turret was left unmanned. Queue me hopping on it and mowing down the entire defending team one by one as they try to take me out from using it. Their only hope was a c4 which I think only their pulse had and he didnt last long enough to detonate it once he peeked his head out. Sometimes i wish i recorded my gameplay.

You pretty much can always do so, unless you play on PC with AMD graphics card. Doesn't seem to be working in Siege for me, I wondered if BE was blocking the hotkeys/overlay, but I've seen that others have been able to get it working, did you have to do anything special to get it to play nice with Siege(or rather, for Siege to play nice with it)?

The old point values to gain a rank need to be reintroduced for next season, I still dont understand why it has been lowered when the wipe was in. Ranked is now one giant soup of silver skill players in platin and diamond.
