Neat, thanks!

Also, that's literally my exact moveset. I was planning on running Leftovers on mine, just for extra obnoxiousness. I'm doing a mono-ground team for work (because working at a video game store is pretty neat), so I needed a water switch-in to help cover that weakness and I didn't really like Seismitoad or Gastrodon. I also went Modest for better SpAtk, since my EVs and Amnesia help cover each side defensively. This little dealie is pretty neat, and helped me figure out how defensive I want to make my team to just be obnoxiously bulky offense.

Reminder that Water Compaction doesn't actually nullify the attack, so you still take the super-effective hit and have to survive it with good health to actually take advantage of it.

Plus it won't actually mitigate further water attacks unless you're up against something like Gyarados, which is admittedly probable.

scizor is a major downgrade over scyther

i don't know the english names but it has a lot of stinker, like the cow, and also the fish that evolves in an octopus

but I like the spider, the ladybug and the owl (not as much as the ghost owl)

It's not a fish that evolves into an octopus, it's a gun that evolves into an artillery canon, duh.

The pistol fish turning into a cannon octopus makes sense in the same way that a samurai otter turns into a samurai sea lion, or a particularly noisy seed-shooting woodpecker turns into a incredibly noisy cannon toucan.

Which is to say they're cool.

Shameful that gen II has been discussed this long without mentioning the lighthouse dragon sheep.

Also gun-fish -> artillery-octopus is a good line and an excellent final evolution.

Finally got around to beating the E4 after getting distracted by other stuff - it was a good, respectable challenge. No clue what was up with including the flying-type member, though.

My staunch allies:

Wishiwashi, Salazzle, and Bewear were MVPs. Ribombee and Lycanroc were quick, heavy hitters when I needed precision support. Decidueye was a surprising disappointment but I never abandon my starter. Ghost type is a handicap and not a boon, would have preferred if he kept his flying type.

How dare you insult my friend Skarmory? See if I ever trade with you. :colbert:

Speaking of, I forget to mention this earlier, but I got a Luxio in a Moon Ball the other day. I can breed them and trade with folks if anyone wants a Moon Ball kitty. Also, I'd love to have a complete set of Beast Ball things at some point. It's a lot of trading to ask for, so no rush, and I don't need them all from one particular person, but if folks who have Beast Ball things that I don't have would be willing to trade with me, that would be swell. I will take requests of things I could breed for you in return!
