Does flappy mario actually advertise that it costs money when you go to download it? because if not I can understand the complaints about it costing money if it doesn't tell you that until you're multiple levels in.

It's probably listed as Free with in-App Purchases. Sometimes that means you can play the whole thing for free but have to sit through ads. I want to say Ghost Trick was also listed as Free with In-App Purchases, and everything after the first case needed to be bought separately. I can't remember though.

Just checked for myself and nope, it doesn't. The closest they come to telling you that you have to buy the whole game on the store page is this small blurb at the bottom: Which you could easily read over if you're browsing on mobile. The game itself doesn't appear to tell you this until you actually get to the paywall.

One baffling argument I found in the reviews was that someone would rather pay up front than play for free then hit a paywall.

Dead Souls is not great, I really enjoyed Yakuza 4 and have not played 5 tangentially related but i remember reading an interview someone did with actual yakuza dudes that played the game and gave their thoughts that i thought was interesting, but i can't seem to find it e: found it http://boingboing.net/2010/08/10/yakuza-3-review.html e2: lol yeah i love this quote:M: Kiryu is the way yakuza used to be. We kept the streets clean. People liked us. We didn't bother ordinary citizens. We respected our bosses. Now, guys like that only exist in video games.

My PS4 is here and I really like the controller, which is very comfortable. Yoshi the gamer bird also likes it, and really loves the tiny blue light and trying to pull on the control sticks. I chose UncleNintendo as my network name and a butterfly for my profile picture. This is a great early birthday present and I am glad I coincidentally had a long weekend to enjoy it.

You know, I didn't really like the Puzzle Agent games but now that Telltale is so big it would be cool if they tried out that pilot program again.

I haven't bought a physical copy of anything for nearly 3 years. It genuinely really helps save space in my small apartment.

I'll usually buy paperbacks of the books I like to re-read but the Kindle Paperwhite is pretty drat close to reading an actual book with the added bonus of a backlight. Battery on the thing also lasts forever. I still like reading actual books better though...

I forgot that there's another interesting release in 2017 - there's a new Styx game releasing in March. Good to see that the first one sold well enough to justify a sequel, if they polish this one it could be a new really good stealth series.
