The Merry Marauder posted:Trade a member of the '93 team to a Blue Jays fan? Unfortunately I'm currently preparing to have to use Orlando Hudson for the bulk of the ABs at 2b, whose glove is fine but I'm not sure if he would interest you. Riggs tends to fall apart at 2b recently, so I can't assume he'll last a season. Next on my 2b depth chart are 93 Bret Boone, 07 Frank Laporte and 70 Hal McRae. It's not a star studded group. I have some modern relievers (16 Clippard, 10 Glen Perkins, 83 Danny Cox, 15 Rzcepcynskisissi, 10 Brian Fuentes, 87 Eichhorn) if your bullpen needs any help at all. But yeah, I wasn't sure if you were starting Alomar, if you are and need a startable 2b back I probably don't have the juice.

kw0134 posted:I'm pretty sure I got a Trammell as a late round one pick in the SD so that's fair...ish. Modern Love is likely not going to be a top ten pick at any rate. It's an old Trammell. He's 35 and shouldn't be starting. And he's not! He replaces Omar Vizquel as my backup SS and now I'm a lot more comfortable. Assuming Modern Love doesn't poo poo the bed and falls out of the top 10, its first round talent availability would be something like: *A Really Good but Not Great starter at some position (like a Heilmann or a Sandberg or whatever), OR *Superelite talent, but of an age that scares people away (old Pujols, baby Gehrig, Eldest Pete, etc.) In the case of the latter, it's unlikely that there will be any superelite talent of a weird age that also fits my 1981-present motif. And having a Really Good/Not Great guy would be helpful, but probably not change my fate whatever it is. Couple all of that with the fact I cannot trade outside the Subpar League once the season starts and this seemed like the best way to get reinforcements available. Besides, I still have Pander's 2nd round pick if I desperately need a warm body somewhere for some reason. Anyway, that's my rationale here. Armitage's is much more obvious: "I have the depth to gamble that Modern Love sucks and I can snag legit superelite talent with no warts." Roster's updated; I'll go bug Orangeking about submitting his so we can get the previews on the road.
