Played a bit for the first time in a long time, came feels a lot crisper with the lower input lag. Had a lot of fun with it. Gief felt real good even though his v-skill is poo poo now with how slow grey life refills. He is a poke machine again and can convert stray hits into lariat again with it whiffing less. Bison still felt like poo poo

The fact that people got the rq icon from Capcom's server going up and down is probably the most Capcom thing imaginable honestly. I got disconnected from 2 games before loading and decided to give up and just do battle lounges, which worked great oddly enough. Edit: I wonder what the threshold actually is? It might be something dumb they can fix along with the servers not recording info for most matches again, but yeah, right now load times got even worse including loading into training mode so its not just online.

Whats the best follow up to ex dive kick for cammy? Half the time i try to juggle with st hp, shes loving facing the wrong way so it wiffs. You need to hit so high with the dive kick tgat its unsafe to ensure the the st hp will connect it feels like. Watching cap cup all the cammys seem to have realized this and go for st lk into dp or just raw ex dp but thats real bad damage for the meter. I guess getting the knock down is valuable enough.

Apparently this patch completely renamed all of the file structures for characters because why not? so no character skin mods will work until they get updated for the new season 2 naming convention.

so glad there are new reasons for people who don't play this game to post a bunch in this thread laura really got opened up this patch. combos off st.mk, c.jab special cancels, i think she even has more vtrigger options but i'm not there yet. her only real nerf was the added hitbox to her legs during the vskill overhead, and that's not too bad. makes her more likely to trade when anti airing with it, but it was a bit absurd how often i would get crush counter anti airs just throwing it out there. haven't even touched fang at all, laura is too fun this patch. her worst matchups are no longer horrible slogs. urien is a problem though. i also think it is a very good time to pick up rashid, think this season will be very kind to them.

Laura is cool now. All those dumb combos and set ups folks came up with in season 1 that lost to dp's are suddenly actually scary with the addition of even more gross meaty options.Fenn the Fool! posted:Who's actually fun to play in Season 2? i also don't know if this is accurate but ken actually might be better now, too. he definitely got some slight nerfs and a couple dumb things made less dumb, but they gave him MORE options in a few situations. nash is, by far, the biggest loser of this patch.
