There's no reason to use a sureshot/rangefinder/rifled/army of one Imago Loop over the vendor Palindrome, is there? I can't remember the exact differences between sureshot and truesight but with the palindrome's advantage in handling/AA, it seems like a wash at best.

Are the original raid sparrows actually useful in SRL? I just assumed that the suicide boost wouldn't be reliable enough.

They're the No Land Beyond of racing. 99% of the time they're at a huge disadvantage because you can't harvest extra boost with tricking, but if you're already an absolute master with the perfect low-boost lines memorized then you can showboat like that.

Also the guy in first place is probably bad if he's only ahead by that much at the finish line.

Oh yeah, I know I'm bad. In that race I probably missed 8 or 9 seconds due to glitchy physics (two random explosions and bad gate hitboxes while in first place) and twice that because I'm bad at videogames. However I was ten seconds behind the leader going into lap 3, for a normal sparrow that would easily be gg.

If you're good at sparrow racing you can take the lead early on and keep it if you use the side-boosts sparingly and physics work as intended
