Today's patch still doesn't add leaderboards, or scanning, and apparently fixes yesterday's crashes (yay!). - New! Star Marine – Whenever a player respawns, all players will experience a lag spike - New! Being invited to a Multiplayer Match, then exiting and joining a Multiplayer game will always put you in a Battle Royale on Broken Moon - New! Combat Visors have a chance of not showing up in some ships.

I like that they want to open the pandora's box of what Chris Roberts has actually said. I don't even know where to begin. The impossible networking he obviously didn't understand when he was talking about it or the impossible mining he obviously didn't understand when he was talking about it. Maybe the impossible economy he obviously didn't understand when he was talking about it. Game development started in 2011 and needed to be done by 2014 to not fail? That he is a bad manager and does exactly what he did to kill this project on things like the Wing Commander movie and Freelancer? Technically he didn't say anything when he was blinking like a confused chimp stuffed into a too-small turtleneck at his own game he had obviously never seen before, but I want to include that in the list too. Also when he sat around confused in the "Road to Citcon" video where people had to explain to him what was going on with the game development while he was just pissed off the whole time and didn't seem to get it. So many hours in a day, etc. to read the same poo poo. I'm actually amazed the main thread has gone on this long at that place. I have a hypothesis for this, but it would be borderline political talk which I don't like to drag into this bastion of open development discussion.

I had the special ordered Voodoo 2 daughter card without the monitor connections. It overclocked so well that people never believed me when I posted about my 50% overclock. I think they were 300 mhz factory, but they did 450+ without a hitch. I never did get into Voodoo 3, they were too short lived. Having an Aureal 3D card, plus the overclocked SLI Voodoo 2, was absolutely amazing, for the few months before both companies and technologies became irrelevant. Those were truly the best moments of my computer gaming life. RIP late 1998 PC gaming. Now, I just go for energy efficiency and silence. I even undervolt my fans. I run Linux, too. Life is hollow. I did have my CPU core temperature at 14c the other morning when I woke up. Yay.
