Where did you learn to drive?
I have a compressor based on the Orange Squeezer on my workbench, ready to solder. The case has been painted for a couple weeks, I just needed to pick up some solder wick, now I can start soldering.

DIY gear is great - I built both my bass cabs, and I'm sure I will make a bunch of bass fuzz pedals after the Orange Squeezer is done.

Goddammit, I never even considered DIY pedal building to be a thing, but now I'm afraid of losing a lot of free time to it.

I know people that do it and I've avoided even looking into it because even though I don't play much anymore it would be a drat rabbit hole and I have probably five too many hobbies as is.

It'll be fine for ordinary sea kayaking, class II/III isn't a concern here.

Only a couple of slow moving rivers, bays and 7000 km of coastline.

Really impressive, just as slick as my Pixel XL despite being a year older. Keyboard is great too, no adjustment period needed.

On the downside, I love Android 7.1 on phones but not convinced it can adequately replace Windows on the go for me yet. And the bluetooth mouse I bought was jittery, but that's probably because I cheaped out on it. Trying a logitech one next.

Oh and on that note:

For the Pixel C

PCB making is the event horizon of DIY electronics. Once you cross it you're gone forever.

Where'd you get it put in, Best Buy or a local place? How much did it cost?

That Galant I bought only had CD and radio, and I can only tolerate the cheap FM transmitter I bought for so long.

Came with all the mounting hardware including a plastic slot thingy since my old radio was a dual-DIN model.
