He doth protest too much on that. Even if he never did the way he reacted strikes me as someone who has probably had to defend against that accusation before. At best that was probably a nasty rumor that got around and caused a big fight between him and Mary. He was a big poonhound before he got married, even Howard admitted he had a great life so it really wouldn't shock me if at some point early in the marriage he had a one night stand after an appearance or something and word got back. There are definitely some things I think Howard, Gary, Fred, and Jackie all know about each other that they don't say because it would cause serious issues so it wouldn't shock me if that was Howard doing some meta-trolling of Gary without us realizing the reality.

Yeah that's what's so infuriating about him during the bit. "Gary I'm sorry but.." then blames everyone else. He's legitmately pathetic and unlike other staff members or whack packers that I just don't care for but can appreciate on some level there's just nothing redeemable about Scott Depace. Worst person on the show and it's not even close.

My first exposure to the Stern Show was tuning into the show out of curiosity shortly after he came to Sirius , I was treated to Joey Boots giving a heartfelt admission that he was gay, fallowed by a solid hour of callers phoning into to call him a raging human being. I was hooked ever since. RIP Joey.

Maybe Eric the Midget was right about not wanting to be in the Wack Pack. The average life expectancy for a typical Wack Packer has to be several standard deviations lower than the average life expectancy of a regular person. In fact there are probably more dead Wack Packers than live ones at this point.
