That's actually pretty impressive... 3 plates is super lopsided and you'd have to be strong as hell to not fall over sideways. I admit I am a scrub who like always does an even number of plates. :(

It's 3 20kg/45lb plates on each side. I am taking the bait here aren't I.

I thought I saw people benching 2 plates but they had 2 25lb plates and were benching less than me, a new lifter of 6 months who started with no upper body strength at all.

I would like to see someone bench 3 plates in my gym. It would get me hyped.

Well I guess if you had 2 25s on one side and a 45 on the other it wouldn't be TOO lopsided.

When I was doing my medic clinicals a few years back we had this mid-50s woman come in. She was in good shape, and said she was having pain in her elbow. The Dr asked if she had been playing tennis recently, to which she replied yes, a few days ago. Dr told her it was tennis elbow and just to rest it, so she left.

Few hours later she was brought back into the hospital with CPR being performed. Turns out the elbow pain was just how her heart attack was presenting, and went into cardiac arrest shortly after she left the hospital. Oops.

Sure it does. I had it bad a few years ago, did PT at home, NSAIDS, and a cortisone injection. Never came back. And I'm over 40 :smug:

Never seen an MI quite that weird, but did have a guy come in with his wife saying he had something stuck in his throat (they'd been eating at a nearby restaurant when it started). Nope, NSTEMI!

In Korea the policy is illegal to sell, not a crime to buy. Also I forgot about 25lb plates from the US out in Asia theyre 10kg plates.

It is your duty as an american to do everything in such a way that it seems like it should be illegal but actually isnt... since all laws are dumb and stupid anyway

If a dude is going for a lift where a 10-20 lb spot push won't save his life, well that's just natural selection.

You're under the care of a licensed physician, and they're prescribing stuff that's backed up by lab testing and your reported symptoms. As long as your T levels are in normal range or so, they're good.

So after losing 15lbs over like 3 months while I did a bunch of stupid work outs I am back doing 5/3/1 and so I guess my bench has stayed exactly the same, my deadlift went down 30ish lbs and my ohp 20 according to my spreadsheets... I was roughly 10lb heavier when I hit those numbers in the past too

i can see the faintest separation in the middle of my abs when I wake up in the morning. I'm not sure how because I gained like 20 lbs since I started working last year(but lost a little recently so), maybe some of it was ab muscle. I do lift a lot of heavy poo poo in a way I have to brace them pretty hard all the time. Either way it makes it way easier to cut. I've never had abs and I hope I don't have those weird thin looking ones
