I'm reading they're still issuing keys per a game package and order of purchase system So it looks like if you get the eod package (top tier) you will 100% get an alpha key, it's just a matter of if it comes straight away or if you need to wait a day or two Also reading the forums I caught this ... totally applicable to the thread

So I had brang up the hacking in Star Citizen thing and weather or not it was the right thing to do for test purpose in this thread sometimes over the last month to which some goon reply with a link to the hacking site that already had hacks for it. I just want it known, that if Shitizen are going to look at this and use it to blame Goons, that I think of myself more as an associate of Goons as apossed to an actual Goon. I back this up by having never paid no catte tax. For example Star Sector is still technically not finished, but it has a ton of content and was definitely worth what I paid. OTOH poo poo games like Sim City were finished but not worth playing. I'd say a better rule is "Pay for what the game is, not what it could be."

On one hand it's good for hacks to be published while the game is in alpha. On the other hand this hack isn't something complex, it's just down to the fact that there's literally no hack protection at all. Even without this video, it would have been possible to come up with the advice of "hey, how about some hack protection?"
