Some times I wish you could tell your party members to get the gently caress away from the enemies. I was fighting the optional boss in the sewers and when its telegraphing a huge AOE attack for 10 seconds and all I can do is watch from the other side of the room as my idiot friends keep hitting it until it goes off. I use the chain immediately. The chain does more damage the more armiger bar you have. I only use the armiger buff when attacking stuff that your buddies can't hit so basically anything off the ground like the Angelus weakspots.

Just picked this game up, I don't suppose anyone still has any duplicate pre-order DLC codes to spare (PS4 version)? I have PMs if anyone feels like messaging me about it. Thanks! I havent played a FF game since FFX, and with the sale going on I couldnt this game up. Yo so story question. this is something I'm like 80% was dropped in importance in development. Where the gently caress does lunas dog go? Does it die? or is it also shiva? Since Umbra can travel through time I would assume that the dog would be useful.

I bought Witcher 3 when it was cheap on Steam sale or something and played about an hour or so of it. Never played the first two but I couldn't get into it but it might be because I partly didn't like the kb/mouse controls and wasn't using a controller. If I actually bother playing it, will I understand what's going on in the long run?

Yes, though it's a much deeper game for people who know a lot more of the lore (especially outside of the games) however it's totally legible if you go in blind (I did). Also play using a controller. It's just a superior experience.

If no one gives them to you don't buy them they aren't worth the price and most things that effect game play will be useless early in. (besides the Leviathan lure, but that comes with DLC version. this lure works on most fish in the game and doesn't get lost if your line pops)

The witcher also has bomb rear end datalogs that quickly sum up a person and what they've done in the story and what their fate is. There is a bit in the very beginning where you choose the fate of characters in Witcher 2. One could have died. Keep him alive. It adds another sidequest and all the sidequests are good. it picks up a bit faster a few hours in, then you'll be hooked pretty much. White orchard is pretty hit/miss IMO, but if you've only played an hour and skipped no dialogue you probably barely even got into white orchard.

I've stood still trying to activate armiger during hectic moments where the game's performance is tanking, and if you don't hit both buttons perfectly, you'll get nothing. It's either bugged, overly demanding of precision, or affected by frame drops.

The game isn't chock full of amazing vocal performances outside of the lead four, but hers stands out as being especially obnoxious in a world where everything outside of the cities is Southsouth, USA and NotForest Whitaker is around at Hammerhead to suffer violent heart palpitations whenever you talk at him in a non-threatening manner regarding the next monster hunt.

Itsa me, Dino! Gladio's voice is game-tastic, he went to king David Hayter's voice school from the sound of it. Every sentence he says... has that kind of voice actory funny oomph to it.

Ignis' VA is the best just for his "I've come up with a new recipe" delivery. Cindy sticks out like a sore thumb, both in style and tone, but I can't muster up any energy to care since she's such an insignificant character anyway. Then again, she has like 10 times as many lines as the female main character.

Now that I think about it, the fact that the super self-serious Kingsglaive movie and stripper mechanic Cindy are part of the same story, is pretty darn funny. Not to mention Luna's role in the movie and how her character arc turned out in the game.

Oh my God. This is without a doubt one of the most offensive things I've seen in any artistic medium, period. I explained to her I was just doing some research for my ludicrous virtue signalling over a video game. I get to keep my job. I still feel incredibly uncomfortable, and more than a little bit guilty, for having viewed those awful pictures in the first place.
