Not so much Herald, but Revenant for sure. You can pick the legends that reflect different playstyles. Shiro is thief-like, Ventari is druid-like, Mallyx is sort of necromancer, and Jalis is sort of guardian. Since you can have whatever weapons and traits equipped with whatever legends, you can really mix and max what you want. Once you get Herarld, though, you pretty much crap out boons and that's about it.

You can handle nearly all of the encounters without having to swap stances or use utility skills simply because you have fury, swiftness, might, and/or regen the whole time.

Probably shoulda asked this yesterday when I came back playing but: Mesmer or Revenant? I have leveled my Mesmer to 18 so far, but then I question how well Mesmer is at end game now. I'll probably end up messing around on both, but trying to decide what I want to main. I also have an absolute assload of boosts from launch. 1x 80 Boost 10x 20 Boost 5x 30 Boost 4x 40 Boost I have a bunch of character slots from their pricing error at launch, so I could probably make a bunch of the classes to be honest. Just not sure what I want to do.

Yeah. The cost of character slots at launch was bugged and you could grab a ton of character slots for super cheap. I think I have enough slots to play everything but one class due to that.

I wouldn't call it bugged. I got 800 gems for 2g, which I used to buy a slot which then didn't go through and 2 weeks later after I sent a support ticket I got 800 gems refunded and a character slot. 2g was a lot of money on launch day and it took a while for the gem to gold conversion to level out.

Yeah, it also worked in the other direction, you could pay 800 gems for one and get nothing, like you (and me with the 3rd one I was trying to buy that day) - though, how is "buy 1 character slot for 800 gems, have 0 or 2 or 3 slots added" not bugged

In total, I own Airship, DR, and now LL. Airship is the most convenient and Gendarran owns for quickie events, since a bloodstone beast spawns there, and theres always a group for the thief bounty if you're bored being bored. But there's the hiss. Inside the airship there's a broken gas line. It produces a high pitched hiss that never stops and will need you to turn off game sound. DR is great as well. However, it's the original 1%'er club. I was annoyed at the excessive particles spewing onto my screen. That and DR is a larger and therefore laggier zone.
