We still have some sort of wildfire every three years or so.  Edit, they'll still get chucked into the in case of breakdown bag in the wagon. Sorry! My mailman stuck them in my neighbors box, and he neglected to let me know until yesterday. And I was on duty yesterday, so couldn't do poo poo about it. Everything is awesome and I will post pictures in a bit! On a related note my santee should have received theirs today also.

A package arrived today, and I promptly tore it the gently caress open as soon as I got home! A length of (previously used?) "Fire line do not cross" barricade tape. A "Danger do not touch" sticker (awesome!) A nifty as gently caress Wera multi-bit screw-driver with bad-rear end spring-loaded karate chopping action! A box was dropped on my porch by Fedex. Hailing from the far-flung wasteland of Massachusets. What's in the box?   Six of these unnecessarily long screws secured the lid. There is a gm part number on the firewall side near where the pulley snout bolts onto the main housing iirc, I looked it up before sending it and was able to get some app info. I bought it on a whim when we took holdbrooks yarding before NEAI 2015 and it has been taking up room in my spare bedroom since then because the only interested buyer I had was some idiot bro with a fully sikk ZJ that wanted to chat forever about how sikk it would be on his ZJ and had no interest in actually showing up to buy it. So I decided you needed some unexpected build plan changes I did build the crate, it is all scraps of 3/4" CDX from doing the subflooring and roof decking on my house, along with structural screws from the same project. If I had realized you only had a hand driver I would have included a bit since they give me another one free with every box! If you need any other bits (nuts, bolts, vacuum lines I cut, etc) to make it fit that 3800 let me know, I buy so much poo poo at my local yard that they often give me small stuff free - for instance all the badges I sent cop porn popper cost me zero aside from freezing my giblets off prying them off cars in single digit temps with 30mph wind gusts a few weeks ago when we got polar vortexed. I tried to pay and the guy told me to just take it and have a good day.

Picked up Package #2. The lady at the Kwik-Way had a bit of trouble finding it (She was using a Nipple mouse like a trackball and it was having none of that) Anyways on with the gifts.  A nice new Keychain.  A gift certificate for a fancy suspension company. (They shockingly do not sell a kit for the Ranger and the wife gave me a dirty look when I mentioned her Golf. However I have a buddy who actually races an old BMW so he can probably make use of it.)  Only the finest LED accent lights.  This will eventually be accurate enough for my truck. It had surface rust on the frame the day I bought it (Ontario is the land of salt.)  On to the broken stuff. One single platter of miscellaneous ones and zeros.  One layer of a Subaru headgasket I'm guessing EJ25? My EJ25 has 410000KM and just keeps on going.  A gear from a garage door opener that had a bad day.  A very Subaru looking S.  Thanks again Bajaha. The love of a goon is very different than the love of a square.

I'm coming back from lunch and I see an odd-shaped box by the mail pile. "That doesn't look work related...." Oh it's here! Wait, am I more concerned or less concerned now?  Two cards!?  The fronts:   It says : "Deceptor101, enjoy the Junk. That magnet light is awesome. The distributor Is from a 4.3 TBI (*Shudder*). Piston + rings are from a 351 in a blower equipped torino. It ate 318 pistons. Merry AI Xmas -Clam Ache P.S. My kids wanted you to have the stickers" Tell your kids at least one of the stickers will go on a Real Race Car (they don't need to know it's a POS). I thought I took a picture of the box before I unwrapped everything, but I guess I was too excited. Clam Ache wrapped everything, it was impressive. Here's a picture of the whole haul:  Contains: -Chevrolet U-S-A-1 license plate. If I wasn't required to have front plates, this would definitely go on the truck. I'll find a good place for it, maybe on the Lemons Camaro -A multi-piece screwdriver that has a gear-overdrive!? This requires some serious testing. Looks awesome though. -A Piston with a face drilled/cut into it broken rings included. This is going on the desk at work. -Route 66 shot glass -Luk clutch spline grease -"Genuine Chevrolet Parts" magnet. I'm going to see if I can stick this somewhere on my truck. -A bag of misc small parts. Cotter pins, fuses, crimps, brass fittings, and even a rubber band. -A bag of what looks like injector o-rings, although clearly not from the previously mentioned 4.3 v6. -A valve complete with spring, no idea what it's from. Springs are far narrower than any SBC I've seen. -A pack of two flathead driver bits -#14 wire gauge black oxide drill bit (I genuinely didn't know drill bits came in wire gauge sizes...) -A used "4-speed fork rod set" in a very greasy bag. Probably similar to what's on my truck right now. -a busted distributor cap and rotor from the 4.3 TBI. (Our Camaro started with a 5.0TBI and it was the slowest POS ever. I have no love for TBIs) -3 Hot wheels -A seriously awesome work light! Contents of the bag of small parts:  Close up of the faces in the piston:   A Delorean, a 72 chevy luv with a tubbed rear end and V-8 velocity stacks and a sweet 2002:  Close up of the ratcheting screwdriver:  Close up of the light:  It's got a hook and a magnet to hold it to things. It's a very strong magnet, well at least stronger than the glue it came with  I'll use some epoxy on it tonight. It also appears to have a magnetic parts tray inside!  This is a fantastic haul. The work light is probably the best thing, because I am an idiot and haven't bought one for myself yet, despite getting close to 7 years racing in Lemons, mostly at tracks without power. The bag of goodies is something I make at work all the time and throw in a car for myself or customers because you never know when it will save your nuts to have a crimpable spade connector. The injector o-rings are for a 3800. I figured GM parts bins enough it would help you more than me. Glad you liked your stuff and hope it was better then your lemons Santa.

Those o-rings look like the exact ones used on my truck, camaro and bmw (bosch injectors are everywhere!) and all told I have 48 between the three cars. More is never a bad thing. The spring and valve is now the oldest automotive thing I own then, which makes it extra cool. I may try and clean it up and do something decorative with it. Yes Raluek, reading it now that makes a lot more sense. My mind read it as "ate 318ci pistons" like the 318 pistons were the same size and originally a shorter stroke motor or something. I did not brain well.
