I just want to know how literally everyone knew this would be a bad idea besides gar Forman and John Paxson do they really not have anyone on staff who will just be like this is a really dumb and bad idea.

Like seriously.

Groupthink is a hell of a drug.

If you don't foster a culture where it's ok to challenge the boss then people turn into highly paid yesmen and you end up with connect four aficionados running the point and aw shucks Iowa boys getting ignored by the few professionals you've got on the roster.

The Rondo move is such a hilarious reaction to Rose. You think Rose took too many shots? How about the only guy in the NBA who literally refuses to shoot the ball in an insane obsession with getting assists? You think people will be disgusted by Rose's trial? Uh, what's the opposite of that? How about homophobia?

Hornets are in Charlotte, but I'll help with NOLA charity ideas, anyway. :p

I don't know of any charities off hand, but the NOLA area really needs help with education and giving people opportunities outside of resorting to crime. So, charities that focus on at least one of those goals would be ideal, imo.

Not sure how reliable this site is to go off of, but it should be a start: http://greatnonprofits.org/city/new-orleans/LA

I just want to point out that Isaiah Thomas is yes an incredible offensive talent and he needs to be to cover the fact that he's too small to play in the NBA and cannot defend anyone. Kemba Walker is probably better overall once you include him not being a devastating downside on the defensive end.

That said, I shoulda voted for IT instead of Kemba because he's way more fun to watch than like anyone.

*Hoiberg poised to make the winning move*

Rondo: Don't put the piece in the Connect 4 grid. It's your lucky piece.

Hoiberg: Where do you want me to put it?

Rondo: Anywhere not in the Connect 4 grid. Where it will be mixed in with the other pieces and become just another piece. Which it is.

Hoiberg: What?

*Rondo knocks over the grid and punches Hoiberg in the nose*

Rose had a dunk last night. People won't vote him into the All-Star game, right? Right?!

edit:

Thomas dropping 52 on 26 shots was really, really good. There have only been 29 games total since 1983-84 in which someone dropped 50+ on <= 26 shots.

http://bkref.com/tiny/8Upl4

Willie Burton leading that list in terms of fewest FG attempts (19) is pretty funny though.
