I mean Chris-Chan was a pretty hilarious thing to find back in like 2010 and I'll admit to laughing at his videos and stuff where he shows off how he'd make out with a girl using an anime sex doll and where he gets yelled at by his dad on camera for giving out their info. Hell then he pepper sprayed a dude because he's angry about Sonic. The problem is people got terrifyingly obsessed with it to the point where they are waaaaaaay more insane/creepy than he is. When people first found him he was like, hyper homophobic and had really really bad issues with women but all that poo poo was done to him being raised by awful people and having a legit mental illness. In one of the episodes of the new Sonic cartoon, there's an obsessive fan who kidnaps Sonic and friends Misery-style and keeps them looked in his room. Among other things he shows them his fanart of Sonic with flesh-coloured arms. And without those insane people on a forum dedicated to an even more insane people this would probably never happen.
