I swear I've seen it too; way back when they first switched to digital channels one of the local fox affiliates digital extra channels would play older forgotten movies (forgotten in the cheap and unpopular sense) and I remember seeing the dennehey scene in particular.

But then I looked through his post history and he's been asking for years, so maybe it's some malignant meme that's re-writing my past memories.

I asked on Reddit and they suggested Crash :/

Hi everyone,

I have a vague movie scene memory I can't get out of my head. A boy is in some kind of trouble (??) and goes to stay in this couples house. The house is built just for kids, the walls are bright colors, there are toys everywhere; it's a child's paradise. Anyway it turns out this couple are actually horrible pedophiles who have done this before and they get some sort of ultra violent comeuppance. Sorry this is so vague, this is about all i remember. I think the scenes were shot in a very surrealistic, forced-happiness style to foreshadow the coming pedophilia? I believe they also had false walls and tons of recording equipment

Eh, kinda?

The film is a modernized (for 2006), ultra-dark guns'n'violence fairy tale. That paedophile scene is just a brief interlude, so if you've the stomach for a whole feature film's worth of that then sure, go fill your boots.

I just rewatched that scene and found it quite distressing, despite my background in video nasties which seem more slapstick splatter and over the top in comparison, so I'm not sure I'd personally revisit the whole film. I've a sense that it was produced as a vehicle for Paul Walker to demonstrate his ability to be more than just a breezy family-friendly pretty boy.

sorry i dont have an answer but that reminds me in the Ed Wood score with Lugosi's theme (unless theyre both referencing a piece of music i dont know or its a common chord progression or something) it seems like the Harry Potter just straight up jacks the melody (it plays a few times in Ed Wood but the scene where Bela Lugosi ODs u hear it clearly). I'd link it but i cant find it anywhere besides Amazon & their sample starts like, right after what im talking about

Was it on channel 5 in the UK about 11pm a few years ago? If so its a Shannon Tweed movie.

Because he gave no details at all, but for literally YEARS after it launched in the UK channel 5 would show "erotic thrillers" in that slot (usually but not exclusively on a friday night). And a hell of a lot of them seemed to star Shannon Tweed. I thought I'd take a punt.

Ha, the first time I saw a movie with boobs in it, for the specific purpose of seeing said boobs, was Return to Two-Moon Junction. My friend had The Movie Network and we both remarked on how weird it was that the woman's nipples seemed to be really high up.

Okay, I've got a couple of vague-rear end descriptions here, and you guys seem surprisingly good at this, so here goes.

The first one has an alien that I think crash landed on Earth, and fused with a motorcycle. In my head, I remember him having the Cyrax head tendrils.

In the second, I think it's a parody film, and all I remember is the two leads having sex inside of a refrigerator.

Good luck with this one. Been about a decade and my memory is foggy as hell.

A movie that I saw between 2000 and 2008, on my TV. English language.

A notable characteristic is that at least for one scene the character imagined himself in a hazmat? suit around a particularly bookish? nerdy? shy? girl. The suit wasn't ever real, just his imagination.

The only scene that I remember is that character taking off the helmet part of the suit as a symbol of opening himself up to this girl.

That's all I have. Help. :(

Ugh. Well, I'm super unglad that this is the movie, but at least I know. I must have not watched the whole thing, this was not my taste in movies even back then.

It's funny...

You were so scary at night.
My friend was asking me for help remembering a movie but I have no idea what he's talking about.

The details:

"It's about a BF and a GF, move into a house. She's the maid, he's the groundskeeper and he falls in love with the woman who owns the house. And she had breast cancer so had a double mastectomy. 90s I think, romance or drama"

Any ideas?

From the writer of 100 Women (aka Girl Fever) as well as Prehysteria!, Prehysteria! 2 and Prehysteria! 3. He also wrote/directed Monster Man which is basically a slasher film about a Monster Man who drives a Monster Truck which sounds like something he came up with when he was stoned and then all his buddies dared him to go through with it.

And then in a career twist he wrote/directed the Clive Owen flick Shoot 'Em Up. Didn't see that coming.

Can anyone identify what movie this song is sampling these quotes from? I'm at work so I can't quite listen to it, but here's one of the sampled quotes in the song.

quote:

The law of the jungle is the law of the gang. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth

And the song in question.

It's been driving me up the wall. I feel like I should know this and it's going to be something obvious, but I've been racking my brain with any kind of gang movie quote and I'm drawing a blank.

This has been bothering me for years so it would be awesome if someone could identify this movie. At this point I'm not sure if I dreamt this whole thing or if I really saw it on TV when I was a kid in the early 2000's.

It was in english, a black and white movie if i remember correctly. I think it was set in the 40's or 50's and. The female main character met a woman in a restaurant, the woman told her about a surgery where they remove your heart so you can't feel heartache (because of love). Later the main character seems to be having some kind of trouble with her husband (?) and she can be seen looking at a heart-shaped glass box. There was also a scene where someone opens a body bag and there's a man who has a scar on his chest like they had removed his heart. I remember it being scary as hell so I assume it was a horror film, but then again I was around 7 when I saw the movie on TV.

Nope, I definitely know the scene you're talking about, but I'm reasonably sure it wasn't Brian Denehey. I think you're thinking of him because it was a similar role to that big-fish-in-a-small-pond rear end in a top hat cop that Denehey played in First Blood, and I remember nothing else about the film.

Got them WMD's! Got that Pandemic!
Uh, this is going to be vague as hell, but whatever. I think it was a scene where a character is telling a story to someone, and the story is animated in a different artstyle to the rest of the movie. A planet of people are starving, a giant space dragon or something attacks them, they kill it and then they have lots of food.
Please tell me I didn't dream this!

With great shame I need to ask for help once again.
Some saint in this forum helped me out years ago, but I cant find my post anymore, even after scanning through all 250-something pages.

It was an old anime/cartoon on VHS that we had.
The story is about a boy that in the beginning looses his father, who is a martial artist. His father is killed in front of him by an evil rival, who had a sidekick-woman that used needles to kill him.
The boy then needs to flee and hides in a cave. The next day he starts exploring/training and meets a monkey, that in the beginning is very sceptical of him.
I think that they become friends after he fights against a monster/big cat to save the monkey. THey also tried to eat some beets, but they were very bitter and they all had a laugh!

The story advances and the boy now is a teenager and soemhow ends up in a town, where he is imprisioned, because he breaks the rules of the oppressive regime there. A girl helps him and hands him food through the cell window.
Lo and behold the oppressive regime is lead by the evil rival that killed his father.

Unfortunately, we did only have two tapes and i dont know the rest of the story.
It was one of those good old animation movies that didnt shy away from showing blood and real consequences.
