I'm not that huge of a turbonerd that I would watch geeks speedrunning old games in the middle of the night. Instead I'll get up slightly before 6 AM so I can watch the Nintendo Switch presentation. Priorities.

Laura now saying Zelda will definitely make launch at least in America. Liam Robertson bring a little bitch about it saying he wishes it would be delayed because it's not done.(eg even though I was wrong I'm still right)

No, but both it and Mario Sunshine were very rushed and it shows. The only rumors for BoTW delays have been localisation issues and that the game is otherwise done. People just assumed it given Other M's sales, the series' absence from Wii U and 3DS, and Federation Force. Which, to be fair, was not an unreasonable assumption. I think it would be neat to see a Nintendo console launch with both a Mario and a Zelda game Would also be rad if the ports of Splatoon, Smash and Kart also hit launch. Like, that'd be a killer line up.

Woke up to Shigeru Miyamoto standing at the foot of my bed with the only copy of a brand new 2D Metroid game, which he then crushed into a fine powder and snorted. Bill Trinen turned to me and asked if I was looking forward to Federation Force 2.

A lot of people would complain about ports of last gen stuff, but considering the Wii U's sales, they would be new to a lot of consumers and they're awesome games. Plus, they'll have new stuff. I'd buy a Mario Maker port with new features without thinking twice.
