I wish we had visual aids like this back when I was learning trig in highschool. I always wanted to know how they got the values for sin, cos and tan and none of my teachers could ever explain it worth a drat. Especially when we got to the more advanced stuff like that. "There are tables in the back of your maths book, or you can use your calculator to work out their value." "Yes, but why are they those values?" "That's just what they are. No more questions, finish your assignment."

Thus, sine tables were created.
