So, I levelled a few more 80s and since goonteq is on a hiatus so no one can see my dumb outfits I despaired at showing them off for people to So here's the last three charr I needed to level to cap, my warrior, ranger and mesmer, and then the final two alts I bought at the character slot sale this time last year, my norn necro and norn revenant, also finally maxed out. First, my warrior Meowist Infiltrator. Really the most 'good enough' of the lot and almost tempted to just change the whole look, name and all (not as good a pun as I thought at first).  I mean, t3 cultural heavy helm? Drastically overused. But look at how nicely the gloves and boots dye with enameled emblaze!  It's tricky to find skins that dye similarly enough to fit, but too many mistward skins would be too samey.  Action shot! Then the ranger, A Dog Person. Not literally!  I wanted an alt to use all these machined skins I was getting from the specialisation weapons, and the charr fit best (it helped the machined hammer sucked) along with the extremely disappointing Black Citadel backpack.  Also with A Person Dog cameo! Shame the longbow is really, really impractical.  The shoulders actually hide the helm from clipping to look even worse than this already does! Somehow! Like a giant catsnake in an Earthwurm Jim costume! Last charr, and my favourite for how dumb it is, the mesmer Rich Irony Vein!  It's the same spooky robes you see 50% of light armour charr wearing, but pastel blue!  And with those immortal weapon skins you can only get one of from those 2000 gem outfit and extras bundles! Or a BL chest wardrobe unlock like that one goon if you're obscenely lucky!  I wasn't! gently caress you, lucky goon! Next up, Thulsa Goom, who I got the face pretty close to James Earl Jones but not close enough to count so I gave up and made him some kind of samurai guy?  With the oni blade instead of the actual katana cause it fit the colour scheme better, and also doesn't suck! Or at least sucks in different non-clashing ways.  And a stick! A true marital artisté~  Ended up being my third favourite look out of my recents alts, after the charr mesmer's second and this next guy's first place, somehow. Finally, Ham Manwich, who I challenged myself to get a colour scheme and armour set to match the beaded weapon set as well as possible. Did I succeed?  Absolutely not.  But I love how bad it is - especially when I realised I'd missed a dye channel and now glowing yellow eyes wooooOOOOoooo~  My only regret is that there's no pink tattoo colour and the yellow leaves much to be desired, but the red highlight seems to be OK and not too out of place, right? Well that's everyone so far, only 11 more alts to max out! Stay tuned for more or throw your monitor into a lake, your call.

Oh poo poo yeah, I could only just hear 10000 Hz and nothing above it (in my right ear anyway, left is still totally 100% hosed), I could probably change the environmental sound levels but I'd rather just count my deaf-rear end blessings

I've seen 3 places where it can be done, and the one I show is the one I can pull off very confidently and is actually useful in one of the methods up the snowball hill. It's not frame perfect or anything, you just have to be dodging around where that first mortar rocket would hit: just past the left-turn bend, a few steps past the giant peppermint. I stutter-step to line it up each time since you have like a second or so prior to needing to dodge.

The problem with videos like this is that the youtube encoder may not be able to reproduce these frequencies of sound. It's possible that neither will the video encoder when recording or even the original playing. As well as that, certain people's speakers may not be able to reproduce the sound accurately. Take these online hearing tests with a grain of salt.

You did amazingly well, and it looks almost like that character is from a totally different game. If you can fix the yellow, it'd be perfect. My second favorite is your samurai-lite guy. Pretty cool. Your mechanical char is more brushed steel than we're used to seeing from char--they usually do more black iron and steampunk--and that's neat that you're bucking the status quo.

If we're crunching numbers, I think your method might shave a few micro seconds off over mine. On the left path, I noticed a few jumps you didn't skip over which may be possible to do so without a dodge jump. But I know there's at least one misleading jump distance on the right path too.

So is it possible to get pretty snowflakes before the 10th? I was looking at the collection and was like okay okay okay and then there was something about 10,000 drinks? Like the essence stuff actually seemed pretty reasonable to just buy, like 50g for one and less for the other two, but what the gently caress I don't have it in me to click something 10,000 times.

Does gear get normalized in sPVP? I chose a mesmer to boost to 80 with my HOT purchase, and have done a ton of PvE stuff so far. Decided this week to try out some PVP. I am queueing in unranked at the moment for 20? matches and and am getting wrecked. I was downed by what I think was a thief in about 3 total seconds. I'm still only in boosted oranges at the moment, so am wondering if that could have somehting to do with it. Or if I'm just bad.

Finally finished all of the time-gated content with Bolt. All thats left is the approximately 1,000gold worth of mats to nake crap like gift of lightning and gift of magic. Or is there any kind of shortcut to that? All told, crafting a legendary has been a fairly cheap endeavor. I think to make my precursor it cost slightly less than just tp'ing it, but it required me exploring game content, which was nice and a pleasant distraction. Edit: btw goons, thanks for liking my Christmas food pic the most!

I just picked this back up with a couple of friends and have no idea what all of these changes are since I last played. Is there a resource somewhere that has leveling builds for Warrior? I looked through the official forums but nothing really seemed to fit the bill, and googling just seemed to get me considerably out of date guides.

You'll have pretty good burst damage, and ways to engage and disengage, stun, and block. You should be good if you pick up some Berserker's and Knight's pieces as you go (basically gear with Power, Precision, Ferocity, and / or Toughness). Stances and Signets are pretty useful for utility skills, just be sure to give them all a read and understand how they work. Once you unlock Berserker you can just steamroll everything you see

Adding to this, work on Discipline first, because the first tier skill Warrior's Sprint gives you a 25% movement increase. Second tier Brawler's recovery will help you condi clear. Also it's great with Greatsword, since you'll be able to use 3 and 5 for quick movement bursts. As for as skills go, healing signet will probably be best for a newbie. Signets in general work well for a newbie. I'm a fan of the shouts 'for great justice!' and 'walk it off!' for quick boons.
